Depravity Takes Hold

Lisa Haven says depravity on a scale never before seen is gaining a foothold in the United States. Here, she cites examples, opening with the pathetic scribblings of Teen Vogue, a digital publication put together by Conde Naste that specializes in “cutting-edge article,” like why teen girls ought to love anal sex and why they should challenge their stodgy parents who vote for President Trump. Our advice: Maybe they should listen to their parents, who love them a lot more than the creepy Leftist stooges who run Conde Naste!

 

Sugar’s Sweetheart Deal

Everytime you buy anything made of sugar, you’re getting ripped off by a group of clever businessmen who lobby your politicians to pass special laws for sugar. Turns out the biggest welfare recipients in America are politically connected corporations, Among the most notorious is the sugar industry, which receives billions of dollars in taxpayer subsidies. Yet the industry runs TV ads denying the aid.

Ross Marchand of the Taxpayers Protection Alliance adamantly disagrees. “Sugar producers will get bailed out by U.S. taxpayers if prices fall below the ‘right level,'” he says. Marchand fleshes out the problem with consumer journalist and Libertarian pundit John Stossel.
