The key word here is “legit.” Berwick says his deep dive into Assange, who last week pleaded guilty to publishing U.S. military secrets and was released after time served in a deal with prosecutors, has raised more questions than answers.
Berwick notes that while Assange released tons of information through his Wikileaks forum, he seemed to stay away from the big stuff, in particular, the conspiracies surrounding 9/11. “For Wikileaks not to have released anything on 9/11 is a huge red flag,” Berwick says.
