The controversy exploded when the A&E Network suspended reality star Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the wildly popular “Duck Dynasty” program, for voicing his opinion on homosexuality in a magazine interview with GQ. Robertson called homosexuality a sin in the interview, adding that homosexuals and other equally vile sinners would not inherit the kingdom of God.
