Robertson: I’d Rather Go To Jail

California Christians are still reeling from another jolt to their First Amendment rights, when Gov. Gavin Newsom last month banned all singing in places of worship in light of the “worsening” coronavirus pandemic. The edict still isn’t sitting well with reality TV star Phil Robertson, who tells The Blaze it’s a battle against this dark world and the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm, and added, “I’d rather go to jail for that.”

Robertson, a mainstay on the wildly popular cable show, Duck Dynasty, continued, “If they win this upcoming election in about 100 days, I fear that we’re going to suffer extreme persecution.” Here’s more on The Blaze.

Phil’s Message Of Inspiration

Phil Robertson of Duck Dynasty fame delivers an unwavering message of inspiration that you might find handy today.

“If these Marxists get in power, they’ll pass a law: no more freedom of speech, no more of this Jesus stuff,” Robertson says. “They’re already getting around people on that Internet, they tell me. Whatever happened to freedom of speech?”

There’s definitely no law that can keep Robertson from speaking his mind, sharing the Gospel and saying the name of Jesus. Is America ready for a mass awakening? Here’s Robertson’s “In the Woods With Phil” on The Blaze Network.

Never Run Out Of Food Again

“Duck Dynasty” star Phil Robertson is totally at peace with being quarantined. He says people are crazy to think we’re going to run out of food during this unprecedented COVID-19 crisis. “It’s all around us,” he says. “There’s no such thing as running out of a food supply.” In this Blaze TV presentation of “In the Woods with Phil,” Robertson takes social distancing to a new level with his mode of survival on the river.

All is Ducky at A&E

The ducks will be quacking again and the A&E Network has egg on its face … as expected. After a week-long, politically correct drama where A&E climbed on its high horse and suspended “Duck Dynasty” megastar Phil Robertson for what it claimed were insensitive remarks toward gays, the network made an about-face and reinstated the hugely popular reality show’s patriarch over the weekend.

As reported on Fox News’ “The Five,” A&E released a statement chock-full of more PC rhetoric, pointing out that it had consulted with numerous advocacy groups before making its decision. “The Five’s” Andrea Tantaros took exception to the press release, saying, “It’s a bunch of baloney. If you take a look at this, it’s about profit, profit, profit. But even more than that, it’s not about money. The fact that A&E tried to silence them, even before the scandal, shows that they have different political beliefs. It’s bigger than money. They don’t want them praying, they don’t want them talking about Jesus. They don’t get that talking about Jesus is actually profitable and what made them profitable.”

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Fox has taken down this video, presumably because they have been involved in a legal dispute with Andrea Tantaros. In its absence, we present the CBS This Morning report on Phil Robertson’s reinstatement.)

Duck Dynasty Star Silenced

The far left and the entertainment industry have struck again. This time stepping all over our first amendment right to free speech. The controversy exploded when the A&E Network suspended reality star Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the wildly popular “Duck Dynasty” program, for voicing his opinion on homosexuality in a magazine interview with GQ. Robertson called homosexuality a sin in the interview, adding that homosexuals and other equally vile sinners would not inherit the kingdom of God. This, of course, drew the ire of the gay and lesbian community and sent panic waves through the politically correct headquarters of A&E.

On the other end of the spectrum, the haste reaction from A&E drew harsh criticism from political heavyweights Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Texas Senator Ted Cruz. “The politically correct crowd is tolerant of all viewpoints, except those they disagree with,” Jindal said. While Palin took to Facebook and Twitter writing, “Free speech is an endangered species.” On Thursday’s “Sean Hannity Show” on Fox News, Hannity gets Palin’s reaction to the controversy.
