Hillary: Distrust and Verify

“In a speech supporting the Iran nuclear deal, Hillary Clinton said her approach will be distrust and verify,” Jodi Miller reports. “Which is the exact same approach Hillary takes with Bill.” Miller also features President Obama, the Iran nuke deal, Tim Tebow, Bobby Jindal and Joe Biden in this edition of NewsBusted.

Duck Dynasty Star Silenced

The far left and the entertainment industry have struck again. This time stepping all over our first amendment right to free speech. The controversy exploded when the A&E Network suspended reality star Phil Robertson, the patriarch of the wildly popular “Duck Dynasty” program, for voicing his opinion on homosexuality in a magazine interview with GQ. Robertson called homosexuality a sin in the interview, adding that homosexuals and other equally vile sinners would not inherit the kingdom of God. This, of course, drew the ire of the gay and lesbian community and sent panic waves through the politically correct headquarters of A&E.

On the other end of the spectrum, the haste reaction from A&E drew harsh criticism from political heavyweights Governor Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin and Texas Senator Ted Cruz. “The politically correct crowd is tolerant of all viewpoints, except those they disagree with,” Jindal said. While Palin took to Facebook and Twitter writing, “Free speech is an endangered species.” On Thursday’s “Sean Hannity Show” on Fox News, Hannity gets Palin’s reaction to the controversy.

Ohio Rally Draws 30,000

Mitt Romney and Paul Ryan attracted a crowd of 30,000 today in West Chester, Ohio — the largest rally for either party this election cycle. The boisterous audience heard warmup pitches from an impressive roster of GOP dignitaries, including former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, Sens. Marco Rubio, John McCain and Kelly Ayotte, Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal, Ohio Gov. John Kasich and former Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice. Kid Rock also entertained the faithful.

The buzz generated will carry over through Tuesday, pushing Ohio into the Romney-Ryan column. Romney sounded positively Reaganesque, delivering an uplifting and optimistic oratory, one of his best for this campaign. He’s on a roll, and you won’t have too long to wait to see the results.

West Chester is in the heart of Butler County, just north of Cincinnati. As of today, GOP requests for absentee ballots in Butler County are outpacing Democratic requests by a margin of 4 to 1. In neighboring Warren County, the margin is even larger, approaching 5 to 1.

PS: The Cincinnati Enquirer placed the crowd size at 30,000, citing police and fire department officials. Steve Peoples of the Associated Press low-balled the estimate, saying only 18,000 were on hand. Peoples is the same reporter caught in a similar lie this summer when Paul Ryan revisited his alma mater, Miami University in Ohio. Peoples claimed “hundreds of supporters” turned out to see Ryan, but the Enquirer, Fox 19 of Cincinnati and WHIO-TV out of Dayton all placed the turnout for the August event between 4,000 and 5,500. Peoples might have legitimate press credentials, but he obviously can’t count. Remedial training with Big Bird for him.

In advance, Mayor Giuliani fired up the throng with a stinging indictment outlining the Obama Administration’s many glaring failures, from Benghazi to enactment of burdensome regulations that have hamstrung businesses and stymied job growth.

Union Ruse Exposed

When Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal and former Minnesota Gov. Tim Pawlenty barnstormed Ohio in support of Mitt Romney, a fight broke out at their July 5 rally in Parma. Turns out the confrontation was entirely staged, lifting a page right out of the Nazi playbook. Heckler Al Neal, who claimed to be from Canton, Ohio, and working with a group called Fight for Fair Economy Ohio, actually was a union organizer from Arizona. Adding to the subterfuge, the irritated “Romney backer” who tried to shut up Neal was 77-year-old Richard Brysacz, a registered Democrat from Parma. Look for the Democrats to ramp up their dirty tricks this election. They’re desperate, and they’ve got a far-left agitator occupying the White House, so it’s hardly surprising that they have summoned the Goon Squad. H/T Breitbart
