The Desolation of Smaug

The first official trailer has surfaced for THE DESOLATION OF SMAUG, the sequel to THE HOBBIT, due out in theaters on December 13. The trailer provides a first-glimpse of the dreaded dragon in this second part of the trilogy. It continues the adventure of the title character Bilbo Baggins (Martin Freeman) as he journeys with the Wizard Gandalf (Ian McKellen) and 13 Dwarves, led by Thorin Oakenshield (Richard Armitage) on an epic quest to reclaim the lost Dwarf Kingdom of Erebor.
