The most popular political party in French is now Marine Le Pen’s National Rally Party. Once reviled as anti-Semitic and pro-Nazi, Le Pen has championed the party’s emergence in modern times. She even kicked her own father out of the National Rally Party because he clung to the radical, far-right agenda. Not so for Marine Le Pen.
One-third of French voters supported her in Sunday’s opening round of the national elections, far ahead of the 14.6 percent who backed Emmanuel Macron’s left-leaning party. It’s not clear if Le Pen can win the next round upright, or will have to form a coalition, but it’s beginning to look as if she will prevail in some shape or form. The French press, like the fake news in America, will squawk bloody murder, but their days are drawing to a close. Here’s more from Paul Joseph Watson.
