Ukraine-Russia Peace Declared

Russia and the Ukraine have both agreed to a peace proposal negotiated with President Donald Trump, leading to the establishment of a partial ceasefire for the next 30 days. The declaration occurred after a three-hour phone call between Trump and Russian President Vladimir Putin.

During this 30-day window, attacks will be banned on energy networks and governmental infrastructure. Over these 30 days, the warring parties also will see if they can negotiate a broader peace, and take steps to more permanently end the Ukraine War.

The agreement remains unstable. Within the first hour after it was announced, Russia already bombed the electrical plant for Sloviansk, leaving the city without power. And the final negotiations will involve the more ticklish questions. For instance, Russia and Ukraine will need to negotiate new boundaries. How much of the lands conquered by the Russians during the war will be ceded over to them? Here’s more from Kim Iversen.

Ukraine Agrees To Ceasefire

Ukraine has agreed to a ceasefire proposal negotiated by U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio in Qatar. Rubio will now take the proposal to Russia, seeking an agreement from Vladimir Putin to also honor the accord.

It’s not a permanent solution, but simply provides a 30-day window during which the two nations can try to begin resolving their differences and ending their war. Here’s more from Clayton Morris with Redacted News.

Did Zelensky Apologize?

Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky keeps scrambling, trying to repair the damage he caused by his disastrous White House appearance. He is now signaling a willingness to negotiate a peace. If it too late, too late? Here’s more from Robert Gouveia on Watching The Watchers.

Russia Ready For Peace

Russian President Vladimir Putin congratulated Donald Trump on his victory in the United States and reaffirmed that Russia is ready to negotiate a peace over the war in Ukraine. That didn’t take long.

We just had to have an actual President in the United States as opposed to a moronic leftist like Joe Biden. Here’s more from the Liberal Hivemind.

Ukraine Is Done!

Former United Nations weapons inspector Scott Ritter says Ukraine’s rejection of peace negotiations offered by an African Union mission paves the way for Russia to finish off the conflict.

Ritter says the Russians have been seeking a negotiated conclusion to the conflict from Day 1, but have been thwarted by NATO and a majority of Western states. He appears on the Danny Haiphong podcast and  analyzes why NATO has been behind the obstruction of peace all along.
