Feds Turning Smoking Mad
Just about every federal agency these days — not just the IRS, but also the Department of Justice, FBI and Department of Homeland Security — seems engaged in some brazen form of seizing and abusing power. Now add the Food and Drug Aministration to the list. It not only wants to regulate cigarette sales, but also a broad range of products containing nicotine, going beyond tobacco products to encompass electronic cigarettes. Is there any phase of our lives these bureaucrats don’t want to control?
