The MAGA Midterm Disaster
TAKE 1 (The first of three takes on the Republican midterms wipeout)
President Donald Trump and the MAGA movement took it on the chin Tuesday as the Republicans suffered major losses in the midterm elections. Trump came on like gangbusters with his tariffs and great economic progress of his second term.
But he squandered that opportunity by waging war on Israel, causing gas prices to spike. Republicans, as a consequence, suffered enormous losses in the American suburbs, while largely holding their ground in rural vicinities.
We’ll now have to deal with some truly repugnant and vile Democratic candidates in the U.S. House and Senate — characters like sex fiend James Talerico of Texas and the Muslim scourge Abdul El-Sayed of Michigan. Will give us plenty of opportunities to rant over the next two years, but what an abject disgrace and what a sad end to Trump’s legacy. Let’s hope he got his veto pen ready!
