Most of us know already that Tulsi Gabbard resigned on Friday as director of the DNI to tend to her husband, who is suffering a crippling bone disease.
Her resignation follows the departure of her deputy Joe Kent, who opposed the Iranian War, and more recently, the resignation of Amaryllis Fox Kennedy, Gabbard’s assistant in charge of Policy and Capabilities. For those who don’t know, Amaryllis Fox Kennedy is the daughter-in-law of Robert Kennedy Jr. A former CIA officer, she had just assembled 40 boxes of documents pertaining to the CIA’s involvement in the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy. Her resignation came in protest because the CIA marched into her offices at the DNI and seized all 40 of those boxes to prevent their release.
President Donald Trump had promised his administration would tell us the truth about the Kennedy assassination. Apparently, we’re not going to get the truth — just more subterfuge that hides the ugly reality of the CIA’s history and the inordinate role that agency has played in political assassinations and violence within the United States.
We can’t say we’re shocked. There have many signs lately that the Trump administration isn’t nearly as transparent nor as clean as they try to portray themselves. Are we giving up on Trump? Not yet. There’s time to mend bridges and actually fulfill campaign promises.
But that’s not at all the focus right now. In fact, it’s impossible to say what is the focus right now, as it seems to shift daily, sometimes by the hour. Will the administration ever get back on track, or will the disappointments continue? That’s the rub — and it’s a difficult, and dangerous, one.
President Donald Trump is on the hunt. He is taking out the [Deep State] army of terrorists across the globe. He is exposing the entire system and he is in the process of burning it to the ground.
This is not just another four-year election. He is transforming the entire system.

Iran is bombing the United Arab Emirates in an attempt to trigger a financial collapse. This is much more serious than Iran threatening a neighboring nation. If Iran succeeds in creating a debt crisis, that will filter into the banks. Once the banks start getting into trouble. this does more than send oil up. It put pressure economically on Europe and the United States. This is the key to a banking crisis.
Financial analyst Martin Armstrong says this Iran war will last the rest of 2026, and gasoline prices in the US could hit $9 a gallon. He notes, “We are at a point where governments collapse. . .. What we are facing is a sovereign debt crisis globally. International debt reached $353 trillion last month. It doesn’t stop. They don’t pay off debt. They just roll it over. This will come to a crisis because interest payments keep rising. Our interest expenditure exceeds military.”
In closing, Armstrong is still a buyer of gold, silver, food and holding some cash. He says the US dollar is not going to be replaced as the world reserve currency anytime soon. This might be a reason why Warren Buffett is holding a record $400 billion in cash.

President Donald Trump is calling for a temporary suspension of the federal tax on gasoline. Currently the tax is 18.4 cents per gallon. Trump doesn’t want to get rid of the tax, simply to suspend it for a period of time until the Iranian War gets resolved.
Already, Sen. Josh Hawley of Missouri has said he will introduce legislation to accomplish the gas tax suspension Trump has in mind.
This proposal squarely puts the Democrats in a bind. They cannot oppose it without appearing to want to stick it to the consumers. But if they suspend the tax, will they agree to cuts in federal spending matching the new loss in revenue?
