The Very Strange U.S. Economy

Grocery prices are at their most expensive. There were more job cuts in October 2025 than any October since 2003. Credit card debt has reached an all-time high of 1.3 trillion.

The government is shut down, which is now affecting air travel across forty airports. SNAP benefits have not been reinstated and still are a point of contention. And the Federal Reserve is making the money printer go brrrrr again….What is going on? Here’s more from Really Graceful.

SNAP Reforms Under Way

Brooke Rollins, secretary of the U.S. Department of Agriculture, discusses reforms under way in SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program).  Program expenses escalated more than 40 percent during the corrupt Joe Biden administration.

Not only were the Democrats using SNAP to try to buy elections, but controls were loosened so illegal aliens were drawing down SNAP benefits. Also, SNAP was going to dead citizens, and some recipients were simultaneously claiming benefits from multiple states.

Trump’s Rx To Heal America

President Donald Trump wants to make America whole again. He is righting inequities in foreign trade, in the health industry, and in the skies. The past few days have seen monumental changes designed to do that.

* The new trade agreement with Great Britain is projected to increase American exports by $5 billion, mostly agricultural products like beef and ethanol, but also aerospace equipment, including Boeing jets.

  • Here’s an update on Casey Means, a wellness influencer, who is Trump’s pick for the U.S. Surgeon General’s position.
  • Trump has curbed gain of function research that was responsible for creation of the Covid virus. This is a first step toward ending the threat of a lab-created pandemic.
  • Finally,  there is a new push to transform U.S. air traffic control and make it a much more capable system to meet increasing demands in the future. This falls under the purview of Sean Duffy, the Transportation Secretary. Much of the improvements relate to tasks performed by the Federal Aviation Administration. Here’s more from Lori Colley.
