The Appeasing Liberals

As Islam again reared its ugly head in Paris last week, we are reminded that it is not the religion of peace. “Despite those who turn a blind eye to Islam, it is the dark side of humanity,” says Joe Dan Gorman. “And it’s not a new thing. Even Winston Churchill said, ‘Islam is as dangerous in a man, as rabies in a dog.'” Great quote from Churchill, but what’s changed?

Food For Political Thought

Despite the progressive rhetoric of the last eight years, the Democrat Party has failed America. Since winning the presidency six years ago and both houses of Congress in 2006, the Democrats have crafted an agenda of failure. In this edition of Intellectual Froglegs, Joe Dan Gorman sets the record straight with his Democrat Progress Report. Says Gorman, “When the Democrats took control, we had a AAA credit rating. When the Democrats took control, there had been zero attacks on American soil since 9/11. When the Democrats took control, we had no beheadings in Oklahoma and we had no beheadings in New Jersey.” And on and on. But perhaps Gorman’s most salient point centers on the economy. While our lamestream media would have you believe that President Obama inherited a Bush economy, that simply isn’t true. Gorman argues that the Democrats assumed control of Congress in January 2007 with Senator Harry Reid leading the Senate and U.S. Reprentative Nancy Pelosi controlling the House. And unbeknownst to most, it is Congress that controls the purse strings, not the president. “So the fact is,” Gorman says, “Obama did not inherit a Bush economy, he inherited a Reid-Pelosi economy.” Soak in Gorman’s remaining thoughts as you head to the polls today in this very important election.

U.S. Swings Conservative

It’s a fact that more Americans identify themselves as conservative more than liberal in 47 states. This, of course, includes a slew of red states. So, why do you ask, are these statistics not reflected in the voting booth. Proof’s in the Liberal Pudding

While running for president in 2008, President Obama ranted and raved that President Bush had single-handedly increased the national debt by $4 million on his own over eight years, more than all previous presidents combined. Well, after winning the presidency in 2008 and re-election in 2012, Obama obliterated Bush’s record, increasing the debt by another $7 million in just six years, one example of the proof is in the liberal pudding. Another glaring example, says Joe Dan Gorman, is the state of the economy. “Obama and his media are telling people, ‘The economy is fine.’ Your the only one that’s struggling. Everyone else is doing great. They point to this ridiculous six-point something unemployment rate. You know, it’s easy to have a low employment rate when you don’t count everybody.
