San Francisco Celebrates Porn

A sculpture of a 45-foot nude woman has been erected near the Ferry Building in San Francisco. Sculpted by Marco Cochrane, the sculpture weighs 30,000 pounds. Called R-Evolution, the sculpture originally appeared at the Burning Man Festival in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada.

Who is the woman depicted? Most likely, this is the goddess Ashtaroth, worshipped by Satanists. Ashtaroth is sometimes called Ishtar, Aphrodite or Venus.

Queens of Heaven
