Candace Leaves The Daily Wire

Candace Owens has left The Daily Wire. This comes after her frequent jabs at Israel piqued the anger of Ben Shapiro, who called upon Owens to quit. The Daily Wire CEO Jeremy Boreing announced the departure in a sketchy statement, declaring “Daily Wire and Candace Owens have ended their relationship.”

We wish Owens well and hope she hooks up with Tucker Carlson to create a truly powerhouse media outlet for American conservatives.

The Daily Wire is not that outlet but simply a mouthpiece for Israel, masquerading as a hub for American conservatives. As for Ben Shapiro, note that the initials for his name are B.S. That pretty much sums up his character. Here’s more from Saagar on Breaking Points.

While Tucker Carlson and Candace Owens are friends, Benny Johnson doesn’t see the two of them working together. Johnson predicts that she will join with Patrick Bet-David on the Valuetainment network. He offers some persuasive evidence here.

Of course, she could just ride solo, and establish her own independent network. Time will tell.

Conjurors Of Reality

Talking heads conjure up ideas. Who funds them? Is a cult involved? I look at a study about the power of suggestion. Here’s more from Amazing Polly.

Does College Equal Success?

Jeremy Boreing, co-founder of The Daily Wire, doesn’t have a college degree. Neither do Mark Zuckerberg, Bill Gates, or a host of other innovators who have shaped our contemporary world. Which begs an important question: Is a college degree really necessary for success?

Boreing says he doesn’t have any problem with people going to college. It’s a free choice. What he doesn’t buy is the suggestion that it is the great pathway to success and fulfillment. He adds that colleges do one thing–create conformity of thought. And since college professors overwhelmingly lean left, there’s a good chance most of their students do as well.

The left, of course, has a different perspective. They believe a college education is a human right that should be paid for by taxpayers. The idea is a big winner among young people, because who doesn’t want something for nothing. Boreing explains further in this appearance on PragerU.
