Jessup In The HotZone

Here’s a new edition from the Dark Journalist Daniel Liszt, returning to the HotZone. That’s the region of the Caribbean Sea between the Bahamas and western Cuba that contains seabed ruins. Many believe Atlantis once prospered in this region before its disappearance between the sea.

The Dark Journalist’s focus is upon Morris Ketchum Jessup, an astronomer and archaeologist who was perhaps the most advanced UFO researcher of the 1950s. He wrote the book The Case for The UFO in 1955, linking “ancient monuments with prehistoric superscience.” Jessup not only delved into Helena Blavatsky’s cult of Theosophy but also Atlantis and the ancient continents of Mu and Lemuria. He died in 1968, supposedly committing suicide, the same day he had invited a friend to meet him to discuss the telekinesis that occurred during the Philadelphia Experiment.

To this day, the so-called suicide reeks of something more sinister — perhaps murder — as seemingly happened to so many UFO researchers in the 1950s and 1960s, among them Dorothy Kilgallen and Damon Runyon Jr.  Jessup’s situation is doubly suspicious because he is the grandson of Morris Ketchum Jesup (yes, he spelled the surname differently, removing one of the two “s” from the spelling.) This Jesup was a financial mover and shaker,  president of the American Museum of Natural History, who funded the polar expeditions of Robert Peary. He also was a member of the Jekyll Island Club, along with J.P. Morgan, William Rockefeller and others behind founding the Federal Reserve Bank.

This is a two-part video — the Jessups and other early UFO personalities occupy the opening half, while the conclusion returns to a deeper discussion of more recent HotZone figures, among them Marvin Minsky, who developed much of the framework behind AI; and Margaret Sanders, the eldest daughter of KFC founder Colonel Harland Sanders. This segment extends to even more recent HotZone figures: The CIA/Mossad-connected blackmailer Jeffrey Epstein, his submarine-piloting paramour Ghislaine Maxwell and oceanographer Alexandra Cousteau, the grand-daughter of the deep-sea diving Jacques Cousteau.

The Dark Journalist promises a follow-up soon getting more deeply into the senior Morris Ketchum Jesup (1830-1908) that will contain explosive revelations, not only on the Arctic and Greenland, but also going back to dinosaurs! So’s there’s plenty of science, history, finance and adventure to digest here, as well as mind-boggling skullduggery and dark conspiracy theories.
