The Storm Is Here

The Storm is upon us. On Nov. 1, SNAP payments will not go out to welfare recipients as the federal government shutdown continues. Twelve times, the Democrats have had the opportunity to join Republican to pass a continuing resolution and keep the federal government open at the prior levels of expenditure. But the Democrats have beat down every such attempt, trying to force Republicans to support funding benefits for illegal aliens.

Meanwhile, President Donald Trump is on tour through Asia, stopping in Japan to greet its new prime minister Sanae Takaichi. They signed a new agreement governing the trade in rare earth minerals, used primarily in the computing and automotive industries. Like Trump, Takaichi is a conservative, and has moved to strengthen Japanese laws on open borders and immigration.

Will the Democratic Party survive? The party has been turning rapidly toward the far left. More centrists and moderates are abandoning the Democrats. How will the party survive if it’s only strong base lies in large cities like New York, Chicago and Los Angeles? How can a party exist that has little, to no, support in rural or suburban areas, or even in mid-sized cities? Here’s more from And We Know.

Japanese Trump Takes Office

Sanae Takaichi has become the new prime minister of Japan, the first woman to hold this office in modern times.

She’s been hailed as the Japanese Trump, as she has promised mass deportations of foreigners, as well as an end to globalism.

Her motto: Japan First!, reflecting her conservative nationalism. Here’s more from Benny Johnson.
