Comey Is Fricasseed!

There are several big issues that could scuttle the U.S. Department of Justice’s case against former FBI Director James Comey. President Donald Trump has certainly muddied the waters with  his Truth Social posts, mouthing off about how Comey needed to be indicted for political reasons. Trump might have needed to stay in touch with his MAGA base, but  he still has likely tainted the case and ruined the odds of success.

In addition, the prosecutor in the case., the newly appointed Interim U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Virginia, Lindsey Halligan, has never prosecuted a case. She has been a personal attorney for Trump, so he trusts her. But it remains to be seen whether she can succeed in the courtroom.

Still, the U.S. Justice Department had to strike fast. There were only a few more weeks left to file, as the statue of limitations was soon to expire, meaning Comey would be out of the woods forever.

And he most certainly deserved a case brought against him: What a disgraceful sleazeball he remains, one of the biggest pieces of shit ever to head the FBI, and that’s saying a lot, given the legacy of J. Edgar Hoover! Here’s more from Jimmy Dore.
