* Vice President JD Vance announced a massive new federal crackdown targeting suspected fraud in pandemic-era small-business programs. The Small Business Administration (SBA) says nearly 870,000 borrowers tied to an estimated $39 billion in suspected fraud are being suspended from future SBA loans and assistance. The cases involve programs including PPP (the Paycheck Protection Program) and COVID Economic Injury Disaster Loans and stretch across much of the country.
* Vance, speaking in Kansas City, Mo., appeared alongside Attorney General Todd Blanche, FBI Director Kash Patel and SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, emphasizing that the effort goes beyond simply identifying questionable loans. Vance said people proven to have defrauded taxpayers should lose future access to government-backed programs, while federal officials indicated criminal investigations and prosecutions will continue. Importantly, being suspended or flagged does not itself mean someone has been convicted of fraud.
* Meanwhile, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is challenging the Trump administration over immigration policy, including changes affecting how an immigrant’s use of public benefits can factor into visa and green-card decisions. Mamdani argues the policy could discourage legally eligible immigrant families from obtaining food and healthcare assistance. Why didn’t the FBI notify President Donald Trump of Communist China’s election meddling during his first term in office back in 2026 through 2020? Turns out the FBI knew damn well about this interference but placed responsibility for passing along the knowledge to a leftist woman by the name of Nikki Floris, who headed what was called the FBI’s Foreign Interference Task Force.
“Raw intelligence obtained by the FBI in 2020, yet buried by rogue bureaucrats, stated that China’s activities even included an attempt to manufacture illegal ballots for Joe Biden,” Trump said.
Operating from within FBI headquarters in Washington D.C., Floris informed every field office “they must transmit any foreign election interference reports” to be micromanaged by her office. This rogue bureaucrat informed her colleagues, “We’ll get this back in a box.” She also bragged she was basically operating “a shadow government across the FBI.”
At the time, Floris knew how China had attempted to mass-manufacture Joe Biden ballots to ensure his election in 2020. Yet, owing to Floris’ unilateral decision to hide this data, Trump never learned of the interference as it was happening. What happened to Floris?
FBI Director Kash Patel forced Floris out of the FBI in May 2025. She now works as Microsoft’s director of insider risk, according to her LinkedIn profile, which has since been hidden from the public.
