Humans Arrived Centuries Ago

A major archaeological find in Indonesia pushes back the migration timeline massively. The findings made by Griffith University researchers from Australia show that early human species made a major deep-sea crossing to reach the Indonesian island of Sulawesi at least a million years ago.

The findings reflect the discovery of stone tools dating to at least the Early Pleistocene Era at the Sulawesi site of Calio. Similar findings from the nearby Philippines island of Luzon amplify this more recent discovery, pushing back the timeline. Here’s more from Styxhexenhammer666.

Mysteries Of The Underground

In Greek and Roman tradition, Ultima Thule is a name for “terra incognita”, or a place rumored to exist in the north, outside of established geography, a faraway, mysterious land beyond the limits of the known world. Hyperborea is a legendary continent in the Arctic and despite its location in an otherwise frigid part of the world, the Hyperboreans were believed to inhabit a sunny, temperate, and divinely-blessed land. Anomalies Of Our History

UnchartedX’s Ben Van Kerkwyk explores new discoveries in ancient history and examines possible forms of high technology. In the following edition of “After Skool, Van Kerkwyk dissects some of the anomalies that don’t fit into the mainstream story of our past and makes the case for rewriting some of the beginnings of our history.

Hidden History Of The Holocene

Anthropologically speaking, human pre-history is divided up into certain segments, some minor and some major, but none more important than the division between the Pleistocene, which includes the time most popularly known as the Ice Age, and the Holocene, which is our current age for the past 10-12,00 years or so, a time following some major global cataclysms, upheavals, and mass extinctions. https://atlanteangardens.blogspot.com…

That said, we can further dissect the current Holocene into the neolithic, or stone age, when agriculture appears, or possibly re-appears, when the tools and weapons archeologists find are made from polished stone, starting at around 11 or 12 thousand years ago. This period is followed by the copper age at around 3500 BC – 2500 BC, an era of transition between the stone tool-using farmers of the Neolithic, and the metal-obsessed civilizations of the Bronze Age.

Could there have been a trans-Atlantic copper trade in ancient times, and if so, who could have done it? Phoenician comes from the Greek word ‘phoinos’, meaning ‘red’. Robert Sepehr is an anthropologist and author

Ancient City Below North Sea

Some have called Doggerland the Stone Age Atlantis of Britain, while others think of it as a sort of prehistoric Garden of Eden. Doggerland was an area of land, now submerged beneath the southern North Sea, that connected Britain to continental Europe. It was flooded by rising sea levels around 8,000 years ago.
