A Midterm We’ve Never Seen
We often associate leftist movements, anarchists of the 19th century, Jacobins of the 18th century, Marxists, Bolsheviks, Symbionese Liberation Front, the Weathermen Underground with violence.
And the argument that they use is, we are for mandated equality and fairness and helping the underprivileged, and therefore to achieve those noble ends, we’re allowed to use any means necessary. And any means necessary is what’s happening right now.
This is the starkest choice in November that we’ve had in a midterm election in my lifetime, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”
