James Comey: I Know Nothing

Former FBI Director and veteran beach comber James Comey is under the microscope again, this time hiding behind a ridiculous “seashell” defense after allegedly posting a veiled threat against Donald Trump.

While the legacy media rushes to dismiss the “86/47” beach message as a harmless coincidence, Comey’s long record of selective amnesia and partisan leaks tells a much darker story. From orchestrating the Russia collusion hoax to shielding Hillary Clinton’s illegal homebrew servers, this latest stunt highlights the sheer arrogance of a thoroughly weaponized justice system.

It is past time to hold the architects of the Deep State accountable for years of lying to Congress and betraying the American people, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”

(EDITOR’S NOTE: Is James Comey the alter-ago of Sgt. Schultz, the staff sergeant in Hogan’s Heroes? Has John Banner, who played Schultz, been reincarnated?)

One Disagreement, Total Revolt?

Operation Epic Fury was never the pretext for a larger, endless war, and the so-called anti-MAGA right—Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, or Marjorie Taylor Greene—should know better than to label it as such, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.”

The whole subtext of the Iran campaign is this: While regime change is not the primary agenda, America’s weakening of the regime may spur people to rise up and overthrow the government.

What’s Next In Iran?

By all traditional methodology and criteria, Iran is now inert: Naval and air forces eviscerated, missile defenses offline, and an army rendered largely useless, as no one is fighting on the ground. However, tactical success is not necessarily equivalent to strategic victory.

It is hard to think of a single battle lost in Iraq or Afghanistan, yet the United States lacked a plan for strategic resolution in either theater. With this in mind, Iran’s current strategy is as follows: The mullahs can afford to lose their military because, ultimately, without U.S. troops on the ground, the regime will remain intact.

This, and many other factors, begs the question: Where does Trump go from here? asks Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In a Few Words.” “In other words, they’re saying as long as we have oil, Kharg Island, and as long as we have these huge oil fields, when you get tired of pounding us into rubble, you’re going go back to the United States. Israel’s going go back and be quiet, and we’re going get all of our oil revenues and we’re going have them. “

And we are going to buy from Russia, North Korea and China missiles, drones, recreate our own drone industry, and we probably have enough fissile material that you didn’t get, and nobody could get. It’s hidden deep in the mountains, that we will make bombs. And this time we’re going to use them because we understand what you will do next time.”

Did Trump Set Trap For Dems?

In this episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words,” Victor Davis Hanson and Sami Winc discuss whether President Donald Trump just didn’t want the distraction of the Epstein files, was protecting Republican donors, or was luring Democrats into a trap.

Brennan: Our Most Wanted?

Former CIA Director john Brennan is mad he lost his security clearance. Brennan should be grateful he hasn’t lost his head!

This  corrupt and flagrant liar did more to poison the U.S. electoral process and our relations with Russia than anyone else in the Barack Obama administration. And that’s saying a lot considering that the traitorous James Comey also worked for Obama.

Here, Victor Davis Hanson lays out why Brennan — as well as Comey — continue to be subjected to deep investigations from the U.S. Department of Justice. These are probes that could well lead to belated indictments.

The Guinea Pigs Of California

Why are the Democrats using California as a testing ground for a wave of summer violence, trying to disrupt the federal government and tarnish President Donald Trump?

Victor Davis Hanson, perhaps California’s most illustrious conservative scholar, discusses the brewing situation, pitting Trump against California Gov. Gavin Newsom, as well as a large and reckless class of leftist politicians, including Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass and U.S. Rep. Norma Torres, a Guatemalan-born Democrat from Pomona, Calif.

Davis joins cohost Jack Fowler for thoughts on the Los Angeles riots, the Musk-Trump fallout, ICE raids, Newsom’s “this is cruel,” and the real cruelty in California, meaning 65-cents-per-gallon tax, liberal elite destroying the middle class, sub-standard schools, and doxing ICE agents.

A Quick Look at the dangerous LA riots—Is Trump to blame or are Democrats sealing their fate? Here’s More from Lori Colley.

Not all Democrats are behind the California insurrection. Here’s a tweet from U.S. Sen. John Fetterman of Pennsylvania, staking out a more moderate position.

Trump’s Reckless Leftist Critics

In this video, Victor Davis Hanson exposes the left’s contradictions in their attacks on Donald Trump and his trade policies.Hanson dives deep into how progressive critics consistently misrepresent Trump’s use of tariffs, portraying them as reckless or harmful without acknowledging their strategic purpose. He argues that the left’s opposition isn’t based on economic facts, but on a broader ideological rejection of Trump’s America-first agenda.

From renegotiating trade deals to holding China accountable, Hanson highlights how Trump’s tariff strategy was a deliberate effort to restore fairness and protect American industry—something past administrations failed to address. Meanwhile, the same critics who decried Trump’s tactics often supported similar measures under different presidents, revealing a clear double standard.

Hanson contends that Trump’s presidency didn’t just disrupt global trade norms. It exposed how deeply entrenched and emotionally charged the left’s narrative has become. Ultimately, this video unpacks how Trump’s unorthodox methods—and the left’s fierce reaction to them—shine a light on the deeper political and cultural divide in America. Canada: The Art Of Trolling

Earlier this week, newly elected Canadian Prime Minister Mark Carney, a liberal, visited the White House.    Mark Carney ran a campaign emphasizing Canadian nationalism, which successfully won him the election.

However, nothing will negate the undue stresses Canada’s NATO spending shortfalls and trade surplus have on its relationship with the United States. Now, President Trump is taking him to task, argues Victor Davis Hanson on today’s edition of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.”
