Moon Race Heating Up

The space race is on again, but this time, the stakes could be much higher. Roscosmos (Russia’s government-run space agency) and the ESA (European Space Agency) recently set up a plan to build a permanent base on the dark side of the Moon. Now the Russians are looking to send up a team of cosmonauts for a future lunar mission and the Chinese are also exploring their options. Can’t be long before the Americans join the race.

What’s with the Handbags?

Why was the handbag motive present in several ancient cultures dating back as far as 10,000 years BC?  This video shows the handbags appearing not only in Egypt and Mesopotamia, but also in the ruins of the ancient Mayans and Toltecs. We still don’t have an answer to questions about what the symbol of the handbag means in all these cultures, but at the end of the video,  we explore a couple of theories.

Bill Clinton: Take a Seat, Bum

Former President Bill Clinton is upset because not just Americans, but people around the planet are rejecting the globalist movement. That’s because most of us value our rights and our democracies. We do not want to be under the thumb of an all-powerful global government — and certainly not one run by pantheists and satanists in the Clinton mode.

Here, Brexit leader Nigel Farage schools Clinton on the lay of the land, and why the vast majority of the public rejects globalists.

RIP Chuck Berry 1926-2017

The death of Chuck Berry brings to a close the gritty, formative era of rock’n’roll. He didn’t invent the musical genre, but he most certainly gave it definition in the 1950s and helped it become a worldwide phenomenon.

Here is Chuck as we prefer to remember him — fronting a small, largely unknown ’50s combo live in 1958. We’ll let others share his appearances with the Stones and other later rock icons.

Watermelon Takes Extreme Jolt

What happens when you pump 20,000 joules into a watermelon? Two words. Pink Mist. After trying to blow up a watermelon with a smaller capacitor,  TheBackyardScientist invited two of his friends over with four capacitors rated at 20kv and 25uf each. The capacitors came from a lab that used to them to simulate the effects of lightning on materials, so this is basically like what would happen if a lightning bolt struck a watermelon!

Huckabee Slams Time Magazine

Mike Huckabee slammed a TIME magazine story that said President Trump’s opposition to Washington bureaucracy could come at the expense of our democracy. The former Arkansas governor called it the latest example of an anti-Trump press writing a “contemptuous and condescending story.”

He said that journalists like the one that wrote the article still do not understand that Americans voted for Trump because of the size of government bureaucracy, not in spite of it.

“This is at the zenith of what people are disgusted by,” Huckabee said, adding that Trump is the “major disruption” the people have been wanting to see in the capital. “It’s a war for the freedom that the American people have lost because of Washington,” he said.

It’s a Total War

Monica Crowley says liberals — many in the media — are engaged in a total war against the Trump administration. She speaks on Fox News, where she has returned after proving that allegations of plagiarism made against her by the CNN scum suckers were false and baseless. Speaking of the charges, she said,  “it’s been debunked.”

Crowley worked (with a few breaks) at Fox News from 1996 to 2016. She is a former online opinion editor for The Washington Times and a member of the Council on Foreign Relations.
