Burger King has issued a dire warning. The food-food chain has run out of cash and is nearing the point where it might need to declare bankruptcy, or at least shed some delinquent franchises. If that happens, Burger King will join Red Lobster as another casualty from Joe Biden’s crippled and failing economy.
Analyst Steven Van Metre warns: Burger King isn’t the only restaurant or corporate chain that could soon be on the cutting block. Consumers have been cutting back and buying far fewer meals from fast-food restaurants. They are now perceived more as a luxury rather than as a necessity. Just how far will the cost-cutting go?
