1920s Flappers In Russia

Roaring Twenties Soviet Union in 1929. Brought to life with AI. Filmed largely in Odessa, Ukraine. Not exactly the image that history has left us of the former USSR. For some more affluent women, there was fashion, parties, bobbed hair, makeup and the ubiquitous cloche hat so popular with girls across the globe in the 1920s.

The position and roles of women in the USSR, in principle at least, were equal to men under the Soviet Constitution. The reality for the vast majority was very different.

Millions ended up in gulags and a totalitarian system remained in place until the late 80s.

This is an AI-enhanced and up-scaled edit from the classic 1929 documentary Man with a Movie Camera. Directed by Dziga Vertov and edited by his wife Yelizaveta Svilova. More from glamourdaze.

Democrats Going Over Edge

Marjorie Taylor Greene’s new sign is causing Democrats to lose it. Greene, the Congresswoman from Georgia, has upset Democrats from the day she took office. Now, she’s doubling down on antagonizing them by posting a sign outside her office reading, “There are two genders: Male & Female. Trust the Science.”

This left Democrats addled. Frustrated. Discombobulated. Pissed off, at least judging from their insane comments on Twitter. More from Mark Dice.

Google Memo Fallout

What can be learned from Google’s firing of James Damore and the hostile response to the discussion of Google’s current diversity initiatives? Dr. Jordan Peterson joins Stefan Molyneux to discuss the intense backlash to James Damore’s Google diversity memo, the reaction to their respective interviews, biological differences between different human beings, Marxists using outcome inequality to push for totalitarianism and the problem when people stop communicating.

Dr. Jordan Peterson is a Professor of Psychology at the University of Toronto, a clinical psychologist and the author of Maps of Meaning: The Architecture of Belief.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: YouTube has now removed and censored this video. In its absence, we bring you another video from Bitechute where Stefan Molyneux takes a look at Google and its censorship problems as well as the fallout from the James Damore case.)

Debunking the War On Women

Is the alleged Republican war on women real, or is it just another mirage perpetuated by the looney left? Regardless, the Democrat Party will make the war on women a front-and-center issue leading up to the November midterm elections because it produces votes. At least it has in past elections.

The Captain Obvious solution is simple: Address the issue aggressively and turn the tide on the Democrats. In this edition of LibertyPen, John Stossel welcomes three women to debate the different facets of the war on women, including Jehmu Greene, former director of Women’s Outreach at the Democratic National Committee, Heather Higgins, president and CEO of Independent Women’s Voice, and Amy Holmes, a commentator on The Blaze.com.
