Hats off to the ubermom who created “Buster Gangnam Style” — the best of the movie-themed Gangnam mashups appearing on YouTube. She assembled these clips from more than 20 Buster Keaton pictures. The timing throughout is impeccable, but the horse stable, elevator, carousel and romantic interlude scenes are, not just uncanny, they are…priceless.

Warp Drive Ahead
What once seemed like a science fiction fantasy — warp drive — might not be so remote or out of the realm of possibility. NASA scientists have uncovered wrinkles in physics and mathematics suggesting warp drive can be achieved, conceivably within our lifetimes. H/T SourceFed

Night of the Living Trekkies
Fans kick off a Star Trek convention by staging a zombie flash mob and dancing to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller.” The convention took place this past weekend at the Rio Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas. Intergalactic Feud
The Carrie Fisher-William Shatner feud reignited over the weekend when the two stars both appeared at Comic-Con in San Diego. They didn’t bump up against each other in the flesh, but Fisher told the world via Twitter, “I’m horrified to hear that intergalactic fraud Bill Shatner will also be at Comic Con,” while Shatner tweeted an unflattering photo of a “Fisher sighting” at Comic-Con, purporting to show a more rotund Fisher in her original Princess Leia bikini. Shatner touched off the rift last September when he dismissed Star Wars as being a Star Trek clone. The comment prompted dueling YouTube videos by Fisher and Shatner, presented here to bring you up to speed on the contretemps.
