New York’s New Nanny

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg has been dubbed a nanny in chief because of his many bans, edicts and crusades aimed at controlling what people can eat, drink and smoke. Bronx Cheer for Bloomberg

Now that Hugo Chavez has croaked, is there a bigger boob left on the planet than New York’s Nanny Mayor Michael Bloomberg? He envisions himself as a benevolent do-gooder, but his meddlesome over-regulation of everything under the sun showcases his true character as the ultimate control freak. New Yorkers should give him the Bronx cheer, but they better be careful how loudly they protest or else he’ll fine them for exceeding healthy decibel limits.

Nanny Bloomberg Strikes Again

New Yorkers have a reputation for being fiercely independent. Strange they should elect a mayor who might be the biggest nanny and paternalistic boob on the planet. Having already gone after cigarettes, trans-fat, baby’s formula and soft drinks, now New York’s Mayor Michael Bloomberg wants to ban Styrofoam cups. Perhaps it’s a good thing Hostess went bankrupt, or else you could bet before his term was up, Bloomberg would be leading a crusade against Ding Dongs and Twinkies.

More Boobery from Bloomberg

New York’s Nanny Mayor Michael Bloomberg can’t resist playing the role of “Father Knows Best.” Under his rule, New York leads the nation in imposing bans and limits on fast foods, cigarettes and sodas. Now, Bloomberg is also waging a paternalistic war to badger women into breastfeeding their children. Kennedy from Reason TV checks in with Susan Burger, a certified lactation consultant, on the mayor’s latest broad-stroke initiative.

Bloomberg Nips Baby Formula

Many men are into breasts, but New York’s Nanny Mayor Michael Bloomberg has carried his fascination with breast milk to an illogical extreme — so much so that he’s now not only upset civil libertarians, but also earned the scorn of the liberal women on The View, and even been subjected to ridicule on RT, the global Russian TV network. When even the Russians are pouncing on Bloomberg’s penchant for “regulation rather than promoting policy through education,” you’d think His Highness might see the arrogance of his ways. But after waging war on cigarettes, sodas, trans-fat and now baby formula, somehow it won’t be surprising if he refuses to back off his pious pedestal.
