A Conservative Schism?

Has Tucker Carlson begun to push a new isolationism that is dividing the conservative movement? That’s among the questions addressed by Victor Davis Hanson, the Hillsdale College historian, in this new video. Hanson says Carlson’s isolationism mirrors that of Pat Buchanan, who ran for President against George H.W. Bush in 1992.

Also in this edition, should we support the United Nations handling food distribution in Gaza when so much of that food lands in the hands of Hamas?

Also, what’s the story with the Ivanpah Solar Power Plant closing in 2026? This comes after California spent more than $2 billion to build the plant.  It’s closing because it’s said to be an inefficient boondoogle.

In addition, Hanson takes a look back at World War II, focusing on the Battle of Crete in 1941.

Biden Fiasco: Hate Of The Union

Our pretend president delivered a belated State of the Union Thursday night, and it might as well been relabeled the Hate of the Union. The majority of Americans detest everything Joe Biden has done to diminish the promise and the prosperity of our nation, foremost, his moves to bring in thousands upon thousands of illegal immigrants.

Does he hope these fiends replace us or does he intend to use them to fight us? Whatever, he’s the most miserable and delirious president of the past 100 years, a scourge who can’t give a speech without ranting about how much he loathes most Americans.

He’s doomed himself and appears likely to serve only one term in the White House. Will he take down the rest of the cantankerous, leftist Democrats with him? Here’s more from Steve Turley.

Nixon Uncensored

Digging deeply into the political archives, we uncovered highlights of a 1982 CNN “Crossfire” interview with former President Richard Nixon, including uncensored comments during a commercial break. The interview was conducted by Pat Buchanan, who later became a special consultant to Presidents Nixon, Ford and Reagan. He unsuccessfully sought the Republican nomination for the presidency in 1992 and 1996.

In his characteristic no-nonsense manner, Nixon lauds the Kennedy brothers, calling Ted the best politician of the three and, in an unsuspecting moment during a commercial break, he takes a shot at President Johnson with some choice words. Tune in to this classic interview with our 37th President, courtesy of CNN.
