Border Crisis Intensifies

DEA Special Operations Director Derek Maltz joins “The Sara Carter Show” to explain why American politicians should be more focused on our southern border than the one in Ukraine, as the immigrant crisis intensifies.

He lashes out in response to Democrat Sen. Chris Murphy’s comments on CNN that Republican demands for asylum reform and better border security are too radical. The Long, Long Arm of the Law

How easy is it to break a law? Pretty easy when you consider there are 4,500 different federal offenses on the books. On top of that, each state has its own separate criminal code. Texas, for instance, has 1,700 more offenses on the books, including 11 different felonies relating to the harvesting of oysters!

Instead of adding new laws, maybe it’s time the politicians cleaned up the books and streamlined our antiquated criminal justice system. Marc A. Levin, from the Texas Public Policy Foundation, joins Instapundit Glenn Reynolds to discuss proposed reforms now on the table. Find out about an initiative that has support from individuals across the political spectrum. H/T PJTV
