Why The Left Fears Barrett

When President Trump nominated Judge Amy Coney Barrett to replace Ruth Bader Ginsburg on the U.S. Supreme Court, it created a liberal meltdown like no other. But it’s not Barrett’s legal qualifications that scare the Democrats. She’s as qualified as any of the eight members now occupying a seat on the bench.

So what gives? For starters, Barrett takes her faith in the Constitution and the Bible seriously. And the main reason the Left is having a hissy fit is because she fights for the unborn. This drives liberals crazy because they do not like her moral compass and they are quaking in their progressive boots, fearing that Barrett will spearhead the dismantling of Roe v. Wade.

“The real issue liberals are afraid of is abortion,” says two-time for Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee. “But what many people don’t seem to realize is that the overturning of Roe v. Wade would not end abortion. It would simply make the legality of it an issue for each state to settle.” Here’s more with Huckabee as he digs deeper into both sides of the issue.

The True Story Of Roe v. Wade

The landmark case of Roe v. Wade is a story of lies and the unthinkable exploitation of two victims. The real identity of Jane Doe was Norma McCorvey, a 21-year-old single woman from Texas, struggling financially and pregnant with her third child. Her predicament caught the attention of two young, activist lawyers, who wanted to change the abortion laws in America. The lawyers eventually convinced McCorvey to file suit, challenging the abortion laws in Texas, which they won. Sarah Weddington, one of McCorvey’s lawyers in the case, would later admit that she used Norma for her own ambition. Meanwhile, a similar case–Doe v. Bolton–was brewing in Georgia, where the victim, Sandra Cano, too, was confronted by ambitious lawyers. The two cases were paired in an appeal to the U.S. Supreme Court in 1973 that resulted in the legalization of abortion. Suprisingly, McCorvey and Cano never had an abortion, and became pro-life activists on their own account, vowing to overturn the decision that carried their names. The Democratic platform “strongly and unequivocally supports Roe v. Wade and a woman’s right to make decisions regarding her pregnancy, including a safe and legal abortion, regardless of ability to pay.” But Reason.TV finds Democrats oppose freedom of choice on just about every other issue, preferring to dictate which schools you can attend, whether you must join a union, what light bulbs are acceptable to use, even such mundane issues as whether it’s OK to drink a soda.
