Foxconn Fight in Wisconsin
State and local officials in Wisconsin are doling out $4.5 billion and 1,000 acres to lure the Taiwanese manufacturing giant Foxconn. The new plant will provide thousands of jobs, so it is widely supported by not only Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, but also House Speaker Paul Ryan and President Donald Trump.
