With the dumbing down of the Thunderbirds and Blue Angels aerobatic air shows, and similar steps taken in other areas, Bill Whittle says we have entered a safety cult era that has basically gone too far.
“We now live in a world where are no playgrounds anymore,” he says. “If there are playgrounds, they’re covered with six inches of rubberized cubes and there are no swings, and no merry go-rounds, no monkey bars.” So how much safety in the world is too much?
