Polls Favor Trump, Clinton

As voters scurry to their voting precincts on this Super Tuesday, the latest polls show Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton firmly in control of their their political destinies. In the GOP race, Trump leads in 9 of 11 polls, while challenger Ted Cruz is tops in Texas and Arkansas. The Democrat race appears to be more one-sided, with Clinton holding huge margins in most of the 11 primary and caucus states, save for the Northeast, where Bernie Sanders leads in his home state of Vermont and in Massachusetts. Host John Phillips breaks down the latest numbers in this edition of “Poll Position” on PJTV.

Electorate Flocking to Trump

Two primaries and a caucus are in the books for the GOP presidential run, and guess what? The establishment candidates are in deep doo-doo. And so are outsider wannabes. The Republican electorate continues to fawn over pre-eminent outsider Donald J. Trump, while delivering the proverbial middle finger to the rest of the field.

“The thing about Trump, is that he’s starting to pander to a group that’s been ignored for a long time,” says political pundit and commentator Joe Dan Gorman. “Trump is pandering to the American people. And the American people understand. We cannot survive without a leader who doesn’t know how to create wealth. If we don’t fix our economy–game over.”

Carson Calls Cruz a Cheater

GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson isn’t mincing words. He says Ted Cruz cheated on his way to winning the Iowa caucuses. Carson contends that Cruz’s campaign staff incorrectly and purposely spread the word to Iowa caucus voters that the good doctor had or was planning on suspending his campaign.

“There has never been a more tainted victory in the Iowa caucuses,” said Jason Osborne, senior communications strategist for Ben Carson for America. “From the mailing denounced by the Iowa Secretary of State to his abject lies about Dr. Ben Carson, Senator Ted Cruz demonstrated he is the worst kind of Washington insider.” Carson details Cruz’s missteps on Fox News’ Fox & Friends.

Republicans Debate On Fox

Political strategist and commentator Dick Morris gives us a preview of tonight’s fourth Republican presidential debate, this time hosted by the Fox Business News. He says that the focus of the debate might likely center on Ben Carson, amid a flurry of allegedly outlandish comments in his autobiography. Riding the Trump Train

If it’s Intellectual Froglegs, you can be assured that Joe Dan Gorman is pummeling liberals. In this edition, Gorman chastises the lamestream media for dissing the candidacy of rising star Dr. Ben Carson, takes on the climate change fanatics and unabashedly reasserts, “I’m on the Trump Train.” Says Gorman, “I believe the man’s sincere and he clearly loves America. And you know what, the man tells the truth. It might come out clunky or socially insensitive, but you know he’s telling the truth.”

Obamacare Front and Center

The complicit lamestream media is adamant that conservatives no longer have a basis for fanning the political flames on Obamacare. They say that bashing President Obama’s signature legislation has run its course and it is no longer a potent issue. Not so fast, my friends. With the Affordable Care Act due to hit full stride in 2016 and some premiums soaring as much as 60 percent on the middle class, think again. Even political pundit Dick Morris says it will be the most caustic issue of the 2016 presidential campaign. In this edition of Dick Morris Reports, he explains.

Trump’s Autumn of Irritation

Weighing in on the always entertaining Donald Trump debate, political commentator Joe Dan Gorman says, “It appears that the summer of Trump is now moving into the autumn of irritation.” But The Donald won’t go away and appears to be getting stronger as the campaign gets longer.

“Even the people against Trump are admitting that the establishment is out to get Trump,” Gorman says. “Forty-four of the questions in the CNN debate focuses on Donald Trump. Twenty-six questions contained Donald Trump’s name. And 26 of those questions were asked to the other candidates.” Gorman doubles down on his support for Trump in this edition of Intellectual Froglegs.
