The Obamacare Disaster

By any stretch, the Affordable Care Act, aka Obamacare, has been an absolute disaster. And now word comes that the penalties Americans have to pay for not signing up for healthcare are soaring, in some cases running twice as high as originally expected. “These penalties are to buy insurance that most people don’t need,” political commentator Dick Morris says. “It’s to cover illnesses that are hypothetical.” He explains further in this edition of Dick Morris Reports.

Has the Pope Changed America?

Political pundit Dick Morris says the Pope’s visit definitely changed America in many ways. And America may very well have changed the Holy Pontiff. Morris says that when the Pope arrived, America held basically two views–a conservative one that embraces spirituality, is pro life and pro traditional marriage, and generally espouses the evangelical agenda. Then there’s the liberal view of non-believers in a Creator and no spirituality whatsoever. “The Pope has offered a third alternative, which is essentially to invoke the idea of spirituality, the thrust of religion and the belief in the Lord.” Morris says. Carly is Not the Answer

Political outsider Carly Fiorina is among the most qualified GOP presidential candidates, but political pundit Dick Morris says that nominating her would be a disaster of major proportions. Morris adds that her most visible black mark when she ran computer giant Hewlett Packard was laying off 30,000 employees and outsourcing many of those jobs to China. The move didn’t sit well with California voters when Fiorina challenged Barbara Boxer, junior U.S. senator from from the Golden State, in 2010. A Different Outcome in WWI

Author Niall Ferguson’s The Pity of War examines what the world be like–especially the European Union–if Germany had been victorious in World War I. In his tome, Ferguson destroys many myths of the world’s first major conflict and asks many direct and impolite questions.

Political pundit Dick Morris says perhaps the major benefit of a German victory would have quashed the rise of Adolf Hitler and the Third Reich. “The stab in the back theory that animated Hitler’s rise to power was based on Germany losing World War I when it thought that it was on verge of winning it,” Morris says. “And that would not have taken place and Hitler would not have been propelled into power. Germany would not have had to pay huge reparations to the rest of the world and therefore would not have had mega-inflation, would not have had the economic collapse, and Hitler would not exist.”

Hillary Clinton’s sense of entitlement is slowly crumbling, and it is embarrassingly visible on the presidential stump. So with the drumbeat of political allegations of wrongdoing not going away anytime soon, is Hillary trapped by her own anger? Obamas Out to Destroy Hillary

Political pundit Dick Morris says that there’s no doubt Hillary Clinton can trace her current political chaos to the Obamas.
