‘Rust’ Armorer Convicted!

A Santa Fe, N.M., jury has convicted Hannah Gutierrez-Reed of involuntary manslaughter in the on-set death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins in 2021.

Gutierrez-Reed was the low-budget western film’s armorer and responsible for firearm safety. The film’s star and producer, Alec Baldwin, was rehearsing with a revolver on set, when it accidentally discharged. He claimed he never pulled the trigger. Hutchins died on the scene and director Joel Souza was wounded.

Gutierrez-Reed, whose attorneys will appeal the verdict,  faces up to a year and one-half in prison. More from KTLA News in Los Angeles, courtesy of 216.

Sordid Tale Of The Zorro Ranch

When Jeffrey Epstein was arrested in 2019 and later convicted of sex trafficking, Little St. James Island, in the U.S. Virgin Islands, became embedded in American lexicon.

The Revelo Project’s D.J. Bolger and Carter Andrews report that the tiny island, one of several lavish properties Epstein owned around the world, was ground zero for his unimaginable depravity of illicit sex, drugs and lies. But little did anyone know that Epstein also owned the Zorro Ranch, a massive property with all the modern amenities in the New Mexico desert, which was shrouded in even more mystery, and where he was above the law.

Bolger says that while Epstein’s Little St. James properties and mansions in Florida and Manhattan were raided by the FBI, to this day it has yet to be reported that any law enforcement has entered the Zorro Ranch or seized any assets. One of Revelo Projects’ sources says, “The  FBI didn’t even raid Zorro. They didn’t even go there and they (Zorro Ranch) had time to clean it up.”

In the following video, Bolger and Andrews unfold a sordid tale of  sexual abuse and government corruption at the 7,600-acre ranch and reveal for the first time the discovery of a never-before-seen 6-foot-by-6-foot photo of a nude painting of young Ghislaine Maxwell sprawled out on a large chair wielding a dagger. They bring us the details, plus discuss the eye-witness accounts of abuse victims, Maria Farmer and Virginia Roberts, and their sexual liaisons with celebrity guests, and a peek at Epstein’s little black book of guests.

In a related story, KRQE-TV, in Albuquerque, reports that the infamous Zorro Ranch was recently sold to the San Rafael Ranch LLC for $18 million, down from its original asking price of $27.5 million. There is speculation on Bard, Google’s new AI social media chatbot, that American billionaire businessman and Epstein confidant, Les Wexner, is connected to the sale.

Baldwin Could Still Be Charged

Fox News reports that manslaughter charges are back on the table for Alec Baldwin in the fatal shooting on the set of the Rust film last year, south of Santa, Fe, N.M.

Martha MacCallum reports that a new expert forensic analysis determined the trigger had to be pulled for the prop Colt 45 revolver to be discharged. Prosecutors dropped involuntary manslaughter charges against Baldwin in April, citing the need for more investigation and forensic analysis.  Baldwin has adamantly denied pulling the trigger in the incident that killed cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.

Martha MacCallum is joined by weapons safety expert Steve Wolfe to dissect the new report.

Baldwin’s Fate In DA’s Hands

H.A. Goodman reports that the district attorney in New Mexico’s First Judicial District will decide by the end of January on whether to charge Alec Baldwin in the shooting death of cinematographer Halyna Hutchins on the movie set of Rust in Santa Fe County last summer.

Sourcing TMZ, Goodman says DA Mary Carmack-Altwies has requested additional funding from the state, suggesting that Baldwin will be charged and the case will move forward. More with Goodman.

Touchy, Feely N.M. Governor

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham finds herself in another prickly predicament amid reports that she grabbed another man’s penis. This is the second time in two years that the Democrat governor has been accused of reaching below the belt. In 2019, a campaign staffer accused Grisham of grabbing his crotch and the parties agreed to a $62,500 settlement.

National File reports that a video surfaced Friday, where another man accused Grisham of reaching down under to grab his penis at a 2005 party in Santa Fe, N.M., and said something like, ‘you got a man here.'” He says the behavior caused a ruckus with his girlfriend, who subsequently left him. Grisham was immediately asked to leave the party. Podcast hosts Tom Pappert and Patrick Howley give their impressions of Grisham and also report on the political landscape of the week, including confirmation that federal agents were in the Jan. 6 crowd at the Capitol.

More Intrigue At Zorro Ranch

There’s yet another bizarre twist to the Jeffrey Epstein saga and his sprawling Zorro Ranch, south of Santa Fe, N.M., in the small rural community of Stanley.

Albuquerque’s KRQE-TV investigative reporter Gabrielle Burkhart has uncovered a mysterious deed transferring ownership of the property from Cypress Inc., a Florida corporation, to Love & Bliss, a nonprofit church religious organization also in the Sunshine State, for $200! Furthermore, the president of Love & Bliss is 22-year-old Alex Lezczynski, who has an extensive criminal record. Now, does this make any sense for a property worth millions!

Burkhart says the attorney listed on the deed traced to a real estate office on Google and the New York phone number is listed to a food broker who’s had the number for 60 years. She finally reached a representative of the Epstein estate, who claims the deed is fraudulent. It turns out Love & Bliss filed a similar deed for Epstein’s property in Palm Beach, Fla. A Florida judge found the deed invalid and unenforceable.

It’s another weird chapter in the Jeffrey Epstein story that never ends. To our knowledge, the Zorro Ranch property has never been locked down nor raided by the feds or local law enforcement since the Epstein allegations broke, which is a shocker in itself. Although, following Epstein’s indictment in 2019, New Mexico’s State Land Office cancelled the Zorro Ranch lease. Here’s Burkhart with more on the travails of Epstein and the Zorro Ranch.
