Twitter’s Smoking Gun?

How did the censors at Twitter get their marching orders? Much was conveyed through Vijaya Gadde, Twitter’s head of Trust and Safety. She’s among the first individuals fired by Twitter’s new owner Elon Musk.

Gadde met regularly with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security to discuss the Biden administration’s desires for censorship on a wide range of topics. These included, but certainly were not limited to, the abysmal defeat in Afghanistan, the coronavirus pandemic and racial injustice. More from David Rubin on The Rubin Report.

Elon Musk has already stripped the power from members of Vijaya’s Trust and Safety team. They will no longer be permitted to ban individuals because of their political beliefs, as happened so frequently over the past year when thousands of conservatives lost their accounts.

Musk continues to fire the worst perpetrators of this censorship. It’s now estimated that one-fourth of the company’s 7,500 employees could be let go.

Otherwise, Joe Biden has already been fact-checked, and Musk has taken steps to protect the 2022 election. More from The Quartering.

What’s Behind The Curtain?

The exuberance on Twitter was prominent just a few hours after Elon Musk’s purchase of Twitter was announced. Conservatives who had been banned began returning, and many tweeted the same messages that got them ousted in the first place–things like:

Trans swimmer Lia Thomas is a guy
Men can’t get pregnant
Abortion is not health care
There are only two genders
2020 Election was rigged
Ivermectin works
Cloth masks don’t work

On the other side, there were threats of leaving Twitter and cries that Democracy has ended. A New York Times editorial board member predicted Twitter will be a “scary place and far more toxic” under Elon Musk.

There are people who must be very nervous right now that their secrets will be exposed. Let’s look at the ramifications. More from Lori Colley.

Mouthy Buddha notes how scores leftists lost followers in the days immediately after the sale while conservatives across the board gained thousands uponnthousands of new followers. Obviously, the left-leaning management at Twitter had been playing games, not only shadow banning conservatives, but in many cases, banning them completely. Soon, we will see how this all shakes out. In the meantime, Mouthy Buddha says the country is becoming more free, even as the leftists wail over their loss of censorship opportunities.

Twitter: Global Censorship Push

Twitter senior executive Vijaya Gadde details plans for political censorship on a global scale. Gadde is the head of legal, policy and trust at Twitter. She discusses the social media platform’s worldwide censorship initiatives in the aftermath of the firm deleting President Donald Trump’s Tweets. Which world leader will be the next one subjected to censorship by this malignant firm whose executives believe they are entitled to speak for all of us? What vile and disgusting morons! More from Project Veritas.

The Great Twitter Debate

Twitter has been one of the most controversial social media platforms among Christians and conservatives. It’s quite clear its user rules favor Liberals,  Leftist organizations and radical thoughts while castigating comparable views held by conservatives, by Christians, or even Libertarians. That’s one reason why we don’t bother with Twitter and don’t use its platform at all.

Here, in a followup to his big Alex Jones show with its massive audience, Joe Rogan has assembled a team to debate Twitter and delve into its Liberal biases. Appearing is Jack Dorsey, a computer programmer and Internet entrepreneur who is co-founder and CEO of Twitter, and founder and CEO of Square, a mobile payments company. Vijaya Gadde serves as the global lead for legal, policy, and trust and safety at Twitter. Tim Pool is an independent journalist, whose videos we carry quire frequently here on the Stormy website. His work can currently be found at http://timcast.com.

This podcast is long — nearly three and a half hours — but at least, it’s an hour shorter than the mesmerizing Alex Jones marathon. We haven’t watched all of this debate yet, but what we’ve seen is quite good, worth viewing, especially if you are trying to use Twitter and maintain a conservative perspective. Ourselves, we’ll wait and see if they clean up their act first before wasting any time with the platform.

ARVE error: need id and provider

Styxhexenhammer666 weighs in on the Twitter debate and says Rogan has come into his own with his two latest podcasts, this one and the episode with Alex Jones. Both attracted humungous audiences. The best part of this one, says Styx: Tim Pool destroyed tech censorship, and the podcast amusingly is trending on Twitter. In other words, we are beginning to beat the Leftists in the Culture Wars. Excellent!
