Dump Minimum-Wage Hike

The countrywide push for a minimum-wage hike by the liberal left is a mirage. While a wage hike would increase paychecks of the poorest of the poor and those with entry-level employment, what the Democrats don’t tell America is how it will affect the rest of us. When small business and corporations are forced to dig into their pockets to shell out the extra doe, two additional things will happen: they will raise the price of their products and they will slash the 40-hour work week. Why? Because raising the minimum wage is unsustainable. “When the Democrats talk about raising the minimum wage, they’re just demagoguing,” says political pundit Dick Morris. “What they should do is reach into their pockets–the federal treasury–and increase the earned income tax credit to take account for the disparity between wage levels and affordability levels.” Morris closes out the week with some sage advice on the issue.

Blame Dems For Urban Collapse

You’ve heard the political discourse over the decades: The Democrats–those liberal bleeding hearts–are the party of the poor, champions of the inner city, protectors of family. But decades of Democrat rule and progressive policies in the afflicted inner city areas paint a different picture–one of urban poverty and economic collapse. Which begs the question: Are the Democrats to blame for the decimation of our inner cities? The “Trifecta” crew of Bill Whittle, Scott Ott and Stephen Kruiser
opine on the issue in this edition of PJTV.

Insider Blows Whistle On NSA

While the NSA combs through our e-mails, employs illegal surveillance tactics to collect metadata from our electronic devices, recent polls reveal that a strong majority of Americans disapprove of these actions. Enter legendary mathematician William Binney, who developed the revolutionary logic and architecture to spy on the world, and has now become the agency’s biggest whistle-blower and nightmare. Listen to Binney’s revelations on The Alex Jones Channel.

(EDITOR’S NOTE: YouTube has deleted and censored this video, as they have all of the content from Alex Jones. In its absence, we present another Alex Jones interview with William Binney, from Bitchute, in 2019.

The Internet Dilemma

Will the Internet be a victim of Net neutrality and massive government intervention, or should we continue to argue against regulation. FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai has jumped on the bandwagon against Internet neutrality and vehemently opposes regulation. “First and foremost, there is no problem with the Internet,” Pai says. “The Internet isn’t broken today as most of us who rely on it know. Secondly, decisions on how the Internet works are now going to be made by bureaucrats and politicians instead of by engineers and innovators. And third, and most importantly to me, this is going to be a bad deal for the American consumer.” Listen to the rest of Pai’s argument as he engages John Stossel in this edition of Liberty Pen.

Out Of This World

Gliese 832 c, located 16 light years away in the constellation of Grus, is among the closest most habitable exoplanets to Earth. Though it is two times larger than our planet, Gliese 832 c is also regarded as one of the most Earth-like alien bodies. In this out-of-this-world edition of Hybrid Librarian, check out nine other exoplanets that may one day sustain mankind and life as we know it.

God Bless Our Military

We join the masses across America to pay tribute to the men and women, both past and present, who defend the freedoms we all enjoy. May God bless them all. And may God bless America.

Rein in the NSA

Political commentator Dick Morris says we desperately need to rein in the National Security Agency or NSA. The House last week voted to tone down surveillance conducted by the NSA under the Patriot Act by limiting collection of phone data from Americans. The bill–the USA Freedom Act–is currently making its way through the Senate, where Majority Leader Mitch McConnell is proposing a two-month extension of the law. Bad move, says Morris, as he explains in this edition of Dick Morris Reports.
