Lula wanted to meet with Trump to discuss his proposed tariffs on goods from Brazil. Brazil is obviously not an ASEAN nation, but apparently did not want to wait to resolve tariff complications.
Greenwald also discusses his dealings with various whistleblowers, including Edward Snowden, Chelsea Manning and Julian Assange. He says Trump came close to issuing a pardon for Snowden upon the conclusion of Trump’s first term. But Democrats pushing a second impeachment hearing, plus turncoat Republicans like Mitch McConnell and Tom Cotton, scotched the deal.

A vast spyware called Pegasus, used by governments around the world to track, trace and listen in on journalists, activists, politicians and citizens, has been exposed.
Originally used as spyware to track terrorists, Pegasus is now being employed to trace opponents or anyone that’s anti-establishment or against the narrative in general.
