The Case For Chauvin Reversal

Constitutional scholar Alan Dershowitz says the inflammatory comments from lawmakers and other influencers in the Derek Chauvin murder case affected the jury and he believes the guilty verdict will be overturned on appeal.

Dershowitz told Newsmax TV what Chauvin did to George Floyd was morally inexcusable, but the babble from the likes of Maxine Waters and Al Sharpton seeped into the jury room and most likely led to the guilty verdict. “All Americans who care about due process and liberty, should be concerned that the jury verdict may have been influenced by if not the thumb maybe the elbow of outside pressures, the fears and the threats. Every juror in that room knew about these threats.” Hear more of Dershowitz’s analysis on Newmax.

The Other Murder Case

While the Derek Chauvin murder trial hogged the airwaves and headlines nationwide last week, there was a similar court case in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area that garnered little attention. And like the Chauvin outcome, a white man was found guilty of murdering a black man under shady circumstances.

The case revolved around a minor traffic fender bender that escalated into a heated argument, culminating in Anthony Trifiletti shooting and killing Douglas Lewis. Trifiletti, a concealed-carry permit holder, opened fire when he saw Lewis reach under his shirt for something. Claiming self defense, Trifiletti was tried in early March, but the jury was unable to reach a verdict, resulting in a mistrial. The case was retried in April and Trifiletti was found guilty of second-degree murder the very same day Chauvin was convicted.

Vincent James, of The Red Elephants, says he’s skeptical about all that went down, since the media has lied about every other shooting where a black victim was involved. “You have to wonder, were the jurors swayed by this whole Derek Chauvin case, particularly in the city of Minneapolis or St. Paul? I think that they were, of course,” he says. Here’s more on the Trifiletti case with James.

Biden: Like A Lead Balloon

Joe Biden’s address went over like a lead balloon and CBS faked the numbers to prove it, Merrick Garland and the Department of Justice seek new powers to suppress political dissidents and the Department of Justice is planning new charges for Chauvin, the public flogging is not yet over…More from RedPill78.

Steve Turley calls Joe Biden’s Leftist address “disastrous” and hails the counter-address from Republican Senator Tim Scott of South Carolina. Up against Biden, anyone could appear like a genius, but Scott’s address was quite good.

Dissecting The Chauvin Trial

With the Derek Chauvin trial now behind us, pending appeal, whatever happened to the charges of racism? The race card, as you might remember, was front and center from the day of the crime right up to the trial, but both the prosecution and defense were mum on the R word. What gives?

Dennis Prager asks, “Isn’t that the entire reason this country has been fixated on this issue? So, maybe the whole thing was a lie.” After all, the death of George Floyd last May set off nonstop riots and lootings the rest of 2020 in protest of police racism. So why wasn’t it mentioned in the trial? Because it didn’t exist.

In the following Fireside Chat, Prager discusses the future of policing in America, whether the verdict was correct and the power of the media in this episode of PragerU.
