The Day Gravity Dies

You wake up floating above your bed. Everything in your room drifts toward the ceiling. Outside, cars lift off highways and trees rip from the ground. According to a leaked government document, this happens on August 12th, 2026 — and NASA has known since 2019.

Project Anchor describes a 7-second gravitational shutdown that would kill 850 million people. The document is a hoax. But here’s what isn’t: We still don’t understand what gravity actually is. Einstein described how it behaves, not what causes it. The graviton has never been detected. And for 70 years, anti-gravity research has been classified at levels above Top Secret.

Scientists who got too close have disappeared. Some came back. Some didn’t. What exactly did they find? Here’s more from The Why Files.

CIA Revelations Under Way?

Is CIA disclosure coming? From dolphin spies to real warp drive technology, cover-ups are finally being revealed.

Could faster than light travel be possible? NASA now has a team dedicated to Star Trek warp drive tech, and they say it will be achievable in the future. By creating a “warp bubble” and using quantum fields that interact with spacetime, a ship could fly faster than the speed of light. However, these conversations are theoretical, so does this technology already exist? A CERN scientist already announced that neutrinos have been documented traveling faster than the speed of light.

Ever heard of Dr. John C. Lilly? He created a tank that no sound, light, sense of time, or even gravity could penetrate, leading to the separation of the mind from the body. As soon as the CIA found out about his experiments, the next phase for them was allegedly how to weaponize it. Possibly most interesting of all, Lilly’s experiments also tested physical and psychic communication with dolphins. Yes, even dolphins were converted into CIA spies.

Now with mass changes happening in the government, will we see a huge disclosure of secrets on all fronts? Will we finally see classified files get opened? Join Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts on this Edge of Wonder to hear all about it.

Have Propulsion, Will Travel!

Exodus Propulsion Technologies co-founder and NASA electrostatics expert Charles Buhler claims to have helped invent a device that breaks the known laws of gravity. The “propellantless propulsion” device uses electromagnetism to propel an object without fuel, meaning that if a strong enough version is developed, we won’t need rockets to get to space.

Buhler joins Glenn Beck to explain how this technology works – or at least as much as he can, because there’s still a lot that’s unknown about how this tech even exists. Plus, he details just how revolutionary it would be for ALL transportation, including why he believes it could get us to the moon in under 3 hours and to Mars in 5-6 days!

Does Gravity Actually Exist?!?

Gravity isn’t real? Actor Terrence Howard was a guest on The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, making some very powerful statements—like that gravity isn’t real, at least the way mainstream science understands it. Howard claimed that 1×1 doesn’t equal 1, the periodic table needs a complete overhaul, and our understanding of mainstream math and science is wrong (or is so old it needs to be looked at again).

He also said that he held certain patents for Augmented Reality (AR) and Virtual Reality (VR) technology, as well as a few other claims. Some have called his interview a psyop, some have praised him for coming forward, and most of the mainstream media has blasted him as being anti-science for all of these claims.

But do they hold any truth? Terrence Howard began his acting career in 1992 and has starred in movies such as in Iron Man, Mr. Holland’s Opus, Dead Presidents and the TV series Empire. So why is an actor making these bizarre claims, and does he know something we don’t?

Well, Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts from Edge of Wonder took a deep dive to figure it out with some good old fashioned fact checking. What Ben found was shocking: Certain studies, news reports and mainstream scientific findings are actually more based in theory than in fact.

It’s Gravity’s Fault!

In the following parody, courtesy of Maestro Zilkos, bumblin’, stumblin’ Joe Biden trips into the lighter side of life with his rendition of the song, “Gravity.”

Biden, who’s notorious for slipping, sliding and stumbling, ala Gerald Ford, sings, “Why won’t gravity stay the hell away from me.” Warning: try not to split your gut when watching the video!

Explaining the Moon’s Orbit

Our Sun holds 99.8 percent of all the mass in the solar system and it exerts twice the gravitational pull on the Moon than the Earth does. So why is it that the Moon orbits Earth and not the Sun? Around everything in space is a volume where the gravity of the thing in the middle beats out the gravity from something farther away, even if it is more massive. This phenomenon is called the Hill Sphere, where the Earth’s gravity dominates. Science writer and educator Dr. Joe Hanson explains further in this episode of It’s Okay To Be Smart.

The Man Who Corrected Einstein

After Albert Einstein developed the theory of general relativity–a new and more powerful description of gravity–he was using the formula to make predictions willy nilly. Most of the predictions were confirmed by science. But then he plugged the universe into the equation and got a prediction that it was static and unchanging, which was wrong. Enter Russian physicist Aleksandr Friedmann, who claimed that Einstein had erred and put forth that the universe was still expanding. After tossing a few barbs at Friedmann and holding strong to his prediction, Einstein relented and admitted his mistake. Learn the rest of the story from MinutePhysics.

Free-falling Through Earth

Imagine the Earth were hollow. How long would it take us to fall through the planet? First off, says minutephysics host Henry Reich, assuming the Earth is perfectly spherical and has the same density everywhere, it turns out that the gravitational attraction from any spherical, symmetric object is the same as if all of its mass was concentrated at the center of that object. Phew! That was a mouthful. Tune in as Reich turns to his wheelhouse–math and physics–to give us an answer.

Free Falling in Outer Space

If you were to orbit the Earth, you’d experience the feeling of free fall, not unlike what your stomach feels before a big dive on a roller coaster. With a little help from Sir Isaac Newton, TedEducation contributor Matt J. Carlson explains the basic forces acting on an astronaut and why you probably shouldn’t try this one at home.

Einstein’s Gravity

In 1907 a young Albert Einstein was looking for a way to extend his special theory of relativity to include acceleration. It took him eight years to come up with the mathematical solution that we know as the general theory of relativity.
