Hollywood actress Allison Mack also faced charges as well as members of the Bronfman family, prominent liquor distributors in Canada and the United States.
Among the many individuals who have been linked to NXIVM: both US senators from New York, Chuck Schumer and Kirsten Gillibrand, Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin and her husband Anthony Weiner, Stormy Daniels, the porn actress and stripper, as well as her attorney, Michael Avenatti. James Alefantis also has been tied to the cult. He’s the owner of Comet Ping Pong — the pizza joint in Washington, DC — at the center of Pizzagate.
