Josh Sigurdson reports that the state of New York is pushing a bill to allow Gov. Kathy Hochul to essentially imprison unvaccinated people as a matter of a public health emergency. Sigurdson says this is something we’ve seen coming for a long time and it appears the tides are turning toward complete totalitarianism. Here’s the disturbing story.
Riss Flex dissects the circus that was the Andrew Cuomo resignation and she doesn’t expect matters to get any better in New York. Problem is, next in line for the governorship is Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, a devoted Clinton ally.
Says Flex, “She’s besties with the Clintons. She supports the Clintons and they support her. This girlie is no good. You shouldn’t support her. They’re all caught up in the dirty.” Flex points directly to the chaos in the Clinton Administration and subsequent Clinton Foundation. She explains further and also reveals a couple more suspect Clinton allies.
Plagued by breaking sex allegations and the horrendous nursing home death scandal, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced his pending resignation on the air Tuesday. This comes as no surprise, seeing as how Joe Biden had already withdrawn support for Cuomo and New York’s attorney general Letitia James had called upon Cuomo to step aside. His last day in office will be in two weeks. More from Ovation Eddie.
With Cuomo gone, New York’s Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul will step forward, becoming the first woman to lead the state of New York. She has operated on the sidelines under the publicity-craving Cuomo, but now we’ll see whether she can survive New York’s tough-as-nails politics. She’s from Buffalo and formerly served in the U.S. House.
CNN is in crisis as the scandals worsen around Cuomo. CNN host Chris Cuomo, the governor’s brother, played a key role behind the scenes, urging the governor to fight and deny the many allegations. Obviously, Chris Cuomo’s involvement violated most journalistic standards. As a result, many media outlets, even those on the left, have been pulling away and trying to separate themselves from CNN. The end result could eventually be the collapse of the troubled network. More from Steve Turley.
Restored Republic reports that New York Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul is preparing for the expected resignation of Gov. Andrew Cuomo, amid a flood of allegations of sexual misconduct.
Citing people familiar with the matter, the Wall Street Journal reported that Hochul said she could be in place as acting governor in a matter of weeks. Hochul, who has been Cuomo’s lieutenant governor in two of his three terms, condemned his alleged sexual behavior, but refused to comment further. Sources say she is already pondering staff changes in the Cuomo Administration should she assume the governor’s office. Here’s more from Restored Republic.
