Canada: An Imploding Nation

Canada is now a very unhealthy nation. Its population is surging,  standing above 40 million with projections that it might reach 100 million by the end of 21st century.

But the economy is faltering, and it’s unclear how all the newcomers — let alone existing citizens — can find work in the years ahead. Canada’s leader, Justin Trudeau, has aggravated the misery with his polemic rule, seeking to punish and silence his conservative opposition. Here’s more from Black Pigeon Speaks.

Migrant Crisis Could Get Worse

Texas, has turned into the epicenter of a growing feud between Texas and federal authorities over how to tackle the migrant crisis and who has jurisdiction over that part of the US-Mexico border. The dispute intensified on January 10, when Texas authorities effectively blocked U.S. Border Patrol agents from a 2.5-mile area in Eagle Pass, which had seen a surge of migrant crossings.

This area includes Shelby Park, a city park on the Rio Grande that is now fenced off with gates and razor wire – impeding the Border Patrol’s access.

On January 12, after the Texas Military Department “seized and secured Shelby Park,” two children and a mother drowned in a nearby part of the Rio Grande. Now, Texas and U.S. officials are accusing each other of contributing to the circumstances surrounding the tragedy. Here’s more from Chris Martenson with Peak Prosperity.

Marine Le Pen sees her popularity surge as race riots engulf much of France. Le Pen has been defeated three previous times in presidential races in France, but the abject failure of French President Emmanuel Macron to control the riots has opened the door for Le Pen and her right-leaning National Rally party. Next presidential elections take place in 2027. Here’s more from Steve Turley.

Global Famine Looming

Combat journalist and author Michael Yon says global famine is rapidly approaching and immigration patterns indicate that the throngs are all headed to America.

Appearing on The Highwire, with host Del Bigtree, Yon cites the shortages of fertilizer and nitrogen in the food supply worldwide, and human osmotic pressure, which he describes as the push and the pull of migration. Here’s more.
