Bloodbath Looms In Michigan?

Democratic hopeful Mallory McMorrow has withdrawn from the Michigan Senate primary coming up on Aug. 4. This comes as little surprise, as McMorrow was polling less than 8 percent support. But her withdrawal turns that Aug. 4 primary into a real showdown.

That’s because Abdul El-Sayed, endorsed by Bernie Sanders and other Socialists, has been leading the pack. But the more moderate candidate appearing to run second in the polls — Haley Stevens — is preferred by most of McMorrow’s voters. So Aug. 4 could become a real test now of whether Democrats want to go the moderate route or veer farther off the deep end.

Whoever wins in this primary, heavy in-fighting will benefit the Republican hopeful Mike Rogers. Here’s more from Braden Langley.

Least Likely To Succeed

Hasn’t been a particularly great week for Republicans… or has it?

Scott Ott brings happy news that the Left seems to have learned exactly what they need to do in order to NOT win in 2028. Here’s more in a new edition of The Right Angle. Ott is flanked by the steady Steve Green and witty Bill Whittle.

Conservative Opinion Silenced

A Cato Institute study finds that 62 percent of Americans are afraid to express their political views in the current political climate. Liberals, conservatives and moderates worry that such expression could get them fired or harm their careers. But the most alarming numbers in the study reveal that 77 percent of conservatives say they have political opinions they’re afraid to share, while 6 in 10 liberals feel they can say what they believe. Host Liz Wheeler, host of “The Tipping Point” on OAN, says the boogieman in the room is the cancel culture.
