Prosecutor’s Shock Resignation

Special Prosecutor Joe DiGenova has resigned suddenly from the U.S. Department of Justice. DiGenova was supposedly in charge of investigating a number of corrupt officials, mostly from the administration of former President Barack Obama.

“I did resign today by letter to the attorney general. I said that it was a privilege and an honor to serve the president and the department, and I was very grateful,” diGenova told The New York Post.

Much of his investigation focused on the phony collusion charges that Democrats have made alleging a false relationship between President Donald Trump and the Russians.

The Post cited sources saying DiGenova had lost support from Department of Justice leaders and the White House amid his “grand conspiracy” investigation. One source suggested the 81-year-old prosecutor and former Trump defense lawyer was “slow-rolling” indictments and getting lost down “rabbit holes.” Here’s more from Red Pill News.

Trump Dangles $5,000 Rebates

In an election-year pledge, reminiscent of the old-style Democratic moves by Franklin Delano Roosevelt, President Donald Trump is pledging to give every eligible American adult a $5,000 rebate, providing the Republicans can retain both chambers of the Congress.

Some restrictions will apply. For instance, Vice President J.D. Vance has suggested that the wealthiest Americans might be excluded. Also likely to be excluded: Illegal aliens. Trump held out the pledge at the Republicans’ midterm convention in Dallas, Texas.

He also announced he is seeking major changes in the way the 2030 U.S. Census is conducted. Under his plan, illegal aliens and non-permanent legal residents would not be counted as part of the population used to decide House apportionment. This would significantly reduce the number of seats given states like California and New York, while raising totals for red states.

Opponents argue the 14th Amendment requires apportionment based on the “whole number of persons” in each state. The proposal is open for public comment and is expected to face significant legal challenges. Here’s more from Stephen Gardner. Republicans Can Buck The Odds

Democrats might be aiming to take control of the U.S. Senate and U.S. House after this midterm election, but a new poll from the reliable Harris Harvard polling outfit suggests Republicans might be able to hold them off. The Harris Harvard poll shows Republicans significantly more enthusiastic and likely to vote than Democrats.

The Harris Harvard poll gives Republicans a two percent edge going into the midterms. In other words, it’s not going to be a blowout, but Republicans can preserve an edge over the radical blowhards, providing the GOP holds the line and votes.

Republicans have another huge advantage going into the election. They have huge cash reserves on hand to spend promoting GOP candidates. By contrast, the Democrats remain mired in debt and will not be in a position to aid so many candidates. Here’s more from Steve Turley.

Oklahoma’s Screaming Banshee

The Democrats’ official candidate for U.S. Senate from Oklahoma — N’Kiyal Jasmine Thomas — appears to be a raving lunatic in a TikTok video. The video shows her shrieking as she cuts up a photo of the former Republican Senator Markwayne Mullin, who now heads U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.

Thomas is not formally a member of Democratic Socialists of America, but says she supports the group’s premises. She’s one nutty fruitcake, so crazy she ought to be leading the shrieking Lindsay Clancy protests.
