America Needs a Challenge

On a pleasantly warm afternoon at Rice University in Houston in 1962, our youthful, brash president challenged America. President John F. Kennedy laid out the country’s plan to put a man on the moon. “We choose to go to the moon in this decade and do the others things, not because they are easy but because they are hard,” he said. That was 52 years ago. Where have the challenges gone and what do we strive for today? PJTV’s, Bill Whittle says, “Nothing we do is audacious anymore. Everything we hear from this president (Obama), and to be fair, for many, many years before he arrived, is hectoring and prissy and trivial and beneath us.” Check out this edition of “Afterburner” as Whittle eloquently dishes out a mix of passion and intellect.

Evidence is Mounting

It’s no surprise that the veracity of global warming is again being questioned. Christian Booker, of the British Telegraph, cites more evidence that our planet has been steadily cooling since the 1930s, the hottest decade on record. PJTV’s “Trifecta” crew of Bill Whittle, Scott Ott and Steve Kruiser the new evidence and the state of global warming.

Obama’s Miserable Failure

When voters went to the polls in 2008, they did so with the pipe dream of a “newer” frontier. They threw all their eggs in the same basket for the new kid on the block–Barack Hussein Obama–the newly annointed messiah by the progressives who would erase the disasters of the previous eight years. He was the big brain to heal the planet, to dismantle conflict, to reverse stupidity. Fast forward to 2014 and witness the U.S. and the planet in chaos. The Annointed One has failed miserably. He went from dumb in hist term to dumber in the first two years of his second stint. Alfonzo Rachel puts it succintly, “He was supposed to be the problem-solver,” Rachel says. “He was supposed to be the solution himself to the Bush problem. Bush, at worst, was just a bad case of indigestion, compared to the virus that turns your gut into a diarrhea fountain that we got with Obama.” Check out the rest of Rachel’s rant on this episode of “Zonation” on PJTV.

The Solution is Self-Control

The loons are on the loose again and public shootings are reaching a crescendo. Perhaps the most publicized incident  in recent weeks focused on Isla Vista Shooter Elliot Rodger, a Santa Barbara (California) City College student and son of a famous film director. The shooting and those that have followed have stirred up the left wing loonies and sent them on yet another rampage on gun control. Alfonzo Rachel has certainly taken notice and is speaking out. “Why is it that liberals focus more on controlling everything but self-control is taboo to suggest,” Rachel says. “They want gun control, birth control, environmental control, population control, but they don’t talk about self-control. ‘Don’t tell me what to do with my body, you fascist.’ Meanwhile liberals demand universal healthcare, which invites the government to be more invasive about your body and health.” In this edition of “Zonation” on PJTV, Rachel spells out the truth about the gun control debate.

Maniac in Plain Sight

The mass-murder rampage by Elliot Rodgers in Santa Barbara, California, has once again shoved the issue of mental illness into the national spotlight. Rodgers allegedly possesses violent tendencies, was on a myriad of psychiatric drugs and even posted his plan to murder online. So how does a maniac in plain sight slip through the cracks? PJTV’s “Trifecta” crew of Scott Ott, Stephen Green and Bill Whittle dissect this troubling turn of events.

Dems in A Benghazi Tizzy

As the new Benghazi hearings loom, there are telltale signs that the Democrats and their lefty brigade are in a panic. Among the concerns hitting the front pages and press conferences are that the hearings are a witch hunt against Hillary Clinton; that the hearings are too expensive; that the GOP will use the hearings to raise money; and finally, that the hearings will become politicized. And they say conservatives are conspiracy theorists. In this edition of “Trifecta” on PJTV, Steve Green, Bill Whittle and Scott Ott take a deeper look at the issue.

Technology Alarm

Political pundit Bill Whittle reports that children under the age of 4 are no longer picking up building blocks to play with, but instead are gravitating to iPads and smart phones. Whittle calls this impending addiction a five-alarm fire. “According to an article in Britain’s Telegraph, the dependence on these devices is no longer psychological,” Whittle says. “Extended exposure to iPads and smart phones and all the rest are causing actual physiological damage to the brains of children, young children.” Join the conversation as Whittle explains in this edition of “Afterburner” on PJTV.

The Silence Of the Liberals

Not surprisingly, liberals are beginning to second guess their policies in light of President Obama’s dismal failures on the economic front and his disastrous performance in foreign policy. Truth be said, the setbacks in Washington are shaking the very foundation of liberalism, according to PJ Media co-founder Roger L. Simon. “Liberalism is very faith-based in a sense that’s it’s not really based on reason so much that it is on a lot of propaganda that my generation is largely responsible for,” Simon says. “And now that it’s not working out, what do you do, how do you work it out, how psychologically … you sort of go into yourself and disappear. I think that what it’s about. It’s very hard for any human being to say I was wrong.” Join PJTV’s Michelle Fields as she continues the discussion with Simon.

Hollywood Gets Religion

It seems when Hollywood gets religion, the box office rejoices. Recently, the top four films included two faith-based productions–Noah and God’s Not Dead.  So what exactly does this mean for Hollywood? PJTV’s “Trifecta” crew of Scott Ott, Bill Whittle and Stephen Green discuss the ramifications.

Zo Rejects ‘Noah’

Alfonzo Rachel warns us to go see the movie Noah at our own peril. Rachel says he refused to see a movie made by atheists who don’t believe in God. “The problem with this movie,” Rachel says, “is that it violates the commandment to not take God’s name in vain. The movie is using God to promote a secular world view. That’s taking the Lord’s name in vain. You’re not interested in God and his word, you’re only interested in his name to give leverage to your agenda, which leads people away from him.” Tune in to hear more of Rachel’s critique in this edition of “Zonation” on PJTV.
