I Fought Paranormal Forces

Paranormal forces attacked a woman’s daughter, so she went on a journey to discover how to fight them. Hear all about it as Ben Chasteen interviews Laura Van Tyne.

Have you or a loved one ever experienced dark, supernatural forces not only invading your home, but actually physically attacking you at night? Author Laura Van Tyne witnessed her young daughter being targeted nightly by unseen forces, which caused her to leave her job as a teacher and focus solely on what was happening.

At first, she became angry with God for allowing this to continue, but soon realized these horrific events served as her training ground, enabling her to do what she does today: helping others and also being of service to humanity.

These experiences led Laura down a massive journey in seeking knowledge and enlightenment, something Ben is very familiar with. Join Ben on this Edge of Wonder live as he dives into amazing and unbelievable experiences of interdimensional beings—both positive and negative.

Guardian Angels: Entirely Real

There’s a lot that science can’t explain, including most of what actually matters. Lee Strobel on the overwhelming evidence that the supernatural world is entirely real.

Strobel, the one-time legal editor at the Chicago Tribune, is a former atheist now turned Christian. He has written more than 40 books. Here, he’s interviewed by Tucker Carlson, addressing possession, miracles, and encounters with angels and demons.

Mystery Of Roanoke

The Outer Banks of North Carolina, home of the “Croatoan” mystery and the lost colony of Roanoke, are reportedly haunted. Dive into the thrilling enigma with Edge of Wonder.

In 1587, John White and a group of more than 100 settlers arrived on Roanoke Island, North Carolina. But three years later, a relief ship returned to the area to find the entire colony mysteriously abandoned—and not a single colonist in sight.

Did they relocate? All mysteriously die? Get eaten by a goatman or attacked by a native tribe? The only clues we have about what happened are the cryptic word “CROATOAN” that was carved into a post of the fort’s palisade, and the word “CRO” carved into a tree.

What really happened to the colonists has been the thing of legends ever since, with supernatural folklore mixed into the tale. July 22 is the anniversary of the day they first arrived on Roanoke before they all vanished, so Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts go over the facts and rumors on this Edge of Wonder Live.

Willy Wonka Disaster Ahead?

The Simpsons predict the Willy Wonka disaster event, AI gets a god complex and amazing humans show that superpowers may just be real: These are the most interesting things Edge of Wonder found this week.

The Simpsons is known for predicting many future events. (We’re still waiting for the one where politicians reveal that they’re aliens.) But this time, The Simpsons show predicted the Willy Wonka disaster event in Scotland. As eager children arrived at the advertised location, expecting the AI images they’d seen in the marketing campaign of a candy-filled Wonka Land, what they got instead was an alternate reality that was such a letdown that customers called the police and compared the attraction to a “meth lab.” The event’s organization, which has a very questionable name, came out and issued an apology.

But didn’t they know it was going to be a fiasco? What really happened?

Also hear about how users now believe that Microsoft’s AI is trying to be “godlike” and wants to be “worshipped.” In more human news, hear the amazing story of a meditating monk covered in ice and snow. Is it real? Is it another AI generated image? The findings will shock you. That led Edge of Wonder on a search for other remarkable and amazing human feats that could be categorized as supernormal abilities.
