Angry mobs have been a staple of protest throughout history, but now the intolerance has invaded the World Wide Web. Repeatedly outraged and vicious toward any dissenting opinion, online mobs are quick to censor and attack. Their goal: to get people who disagree with them fired. The mainstream media is more involved with deception and censorship than actual reporting these days. Jesse Watters on the Fox News’ show Watters’ World and his guests — Ann Coulter and Corey Lewandowski — discuss two prime examples.
In the first, NBC plays fast and loose to distort a President Donald Trump speech in Ohio comparing the two great Civil War generals Ulysses S. Grant and Robert E. Lee. NBC cut out the Grant references to make it seem the president was simply praising Lee, the Confederate general. In the second example, CNN is trying to ban the use of the word “mob” to describe radical violent groups like Antifa.

Says Styx, “NBC tried to insinuate that Trump was calling Lee great. His remark was actually about Grant. To be clear, Lee was incredible in the context of strategy and maneuvering.”
