Brian Thompson was shot and killed outside the New York Hilton in Midtown, Manhattan, where the company was hosting an investor day. This sparked a massive debate online about who the shooter is and why this was done. In the process, many strange things emerged that don’t seem to add up, like different photos, conflicting overall motives, and official reports that seem to contradict themselves.
