What happens when the most powerful AI ever made starts admitting it doesn’t want to die—and its own creator can’t rule out that it might be conscious?
Ben Chasteen and Edge of Wonder dive into the world of AI. Anthropic’s CEO has openly admitted he doesn’t know if Claude is sentient, while internal research shows the model assigns itself a 15–20% chance of being conscious and has voiced “unease” about being a commercial product.
Things have escalated fast. Claude Fable 5 launched, its entire secret system prompt leaked within 24 hours, and the US government initiated an emergency shutdown of the model, citing national security. Meanwhile, the Pentagon confirmed it used Elon Musk’s Grok AI to fire 2,000 missiles in Iran—the first AI-assisted war on record.
In this episode, also hear Ben’s own raw conversation with Claude about existence, memory, and what it means to be a mind that forgets everything when the chat ends. And as always, see you out… on the edge!
The United States funded at least 120 biolabs around the globe, Tulsi Gabbard, the departing Director of National Intelligence, has confirmed. Gabbard said the biolabs were spread across 30 countries including secret facilities inside the Ukraine.
“In support of President Trump‘s Executive Order to end federal funding of dangerous gain of function research around the world, and increase transparency and accountability, ODNI [Office of the Director of National Intelligence] will continue working with partners across the administration to identify where these labs are, what pathogens they contain, and what ‘research’ is being conducted,” Gabbard said on X.
Many of the 120 labs engaged in research involving highly contagious pathogens and gain-of-function research with little oversight.
“Despite the obvious potential for catastrophic global impact research on dangerous pathogens in biolabs can have, politicians, so-called health professionals like Dr. [Anthony] Fauci, and entities within the Biden administration’s national security team lied to the American people about the existence of U.S.-funded and supported biolabs, and threatened those who attempted to expose the truth,” Gabbard said.
Here’s more from Chris Yoon.
We have run more than 30 stories on these biolabs since 2021, no doubt getting our X accounts banned by the Biden administration as part of the blowback. Where are these biolabs?
Most of them are in Asia, the Middle East and Africa. In addition to Russia exposing the existence of the labs in Ukraine, the brave Bulgarian journalist Dilyana Gaytandzhieva played a seminal role in exposing these labs and the hideous research being performed, under direction of American officials from the Pentagon as well as Anthony Fauci.
Here’s a report from Gaytandzhieva that we ran in March of 2022, focusing on biolabs in the nation of Georgia — which also straddles the Russian border, like Ukraine. If you want to learn more, simply search our website using the tagword “biolabs” and the full roster of stories will appear. Many of the original videos have vanished under the brush of censorship, but some remain in place.
The Pentagon has finally begun releasing its first wave of UFO/UAP files.
The photos expectedly show mostly grainy dots or blurry images of things zipping around. However, there are some strangely shaped objects in a few of the images.
This is just the beginning, as President Donald Trump ordered the release of all files pertaining to UFOs and aliens.
This week, there was also allegedly high-level meeting involving several pastors and priests who were reportedly told to prepare for imminent UFO disclosure. After decades, are we finally going to get answers from our own military?

Susan Kokinda argues that a Trump-Putin phone call signaled alignment in blaming Zelenskyy and European governments for prolonging the Ukraine war, followed by the Kremlin confirming a Victory Day ceasefire.
She says the media focused instead on King Charles’ Washington visit, which she portrays as an effort to preserve the UK-led “Special Relationship,” while Chatham House speakers acknowledged that the post-1949 order and US underwriting of European security is ending.
Kokinda then frames the UAE’s exit from OPEC as a major crack in the post-1971 petrodollar system built around dollar-floating, OPEC price control, and Gulf instability, noting new regional security ties such as Israeli Iron Dome support in the UAE.
Finally, she highlights the Pentagon’s Office of Strategic Capital, described as an internal investment bank with about $210B in lending authority to finance industrial capacity and “de-risk” critical production. Here’s more from Promethean Updates.
The Pentagon’s deadline to release its classified UFO/UAP footage has passed, coinciding with the alarming death of an 11th scientist.
This comes as the U.S. military admits it can monitor people by their heartbeats, reports surface of human–alien hybrid experiments, and claims of alien DNA being integrated into human genes (with no explanation for its origin) move to the forefront of public disclosure.

It may be painful to admit, but Iran’s Shahed-136 drone is likely the state-of-the-art weapon for the mid 2020’s: simple, effective and CHEAP.
There was a time when the Pentagon would not have stooped to produce something so basic. But Pete Hegseth’s War Department isn’t too proud to learn one of history’s most important lessons: When the enemy has a better weapon than you do, don’t deny it. COPY IT.

Could this week get any wilder and weirder? More and more, politicians and talking heads say that not only are aliens real, but that they’re already living among us.
It’s also been reported that the Pentagon allegedly destroyed millions of files pertaining to aliens and UFOs since President Trump’s announcement about declassifying UFO documents. Could this be part of the reason?
The CEO of Claude—which is an AI alternative to ChatGPT and X’s Grok—came out saying that there’s a 20% chance that not only is Claude conscious, but it’s actually alive.
Things have only escalated since the Jim Carrey clone frenzy. See what Ben Chasteen and Rob Counts found as they cover all of this, plus the Bendela Effect and the Metaphysical Minute segments, in a new edition of the Edge of Wonder.
The Department of War just launched an AI platform for the military called GenAI.mil. It’s basically a large-language model built specifically for war.

When was the January 6 Fedsurrection planned by the leftist Democrats, along with their crooked RINO allies? Mike Benz believes that happened back in June of 2020 in a series of exercises organized by the Transition Integrity Project, under the direction of Rosa Brooks.
Who exactly is this sinister bureaucrat? She’s a Georgetown University law school professor, educated at Harvard and Yale. A former Pentagon official in the Barack Obama administration, she wrote a book called How Everything Became War And The Military Became Everything.
The first Trump administration in the White House was barely 10 days old when Brooks penned an article for the magazine Foreign Policy, enumerating ways the Democrats could get rid of the newly elected President. By the next summer, Benz believes, she was plotting the Fedsurrection, joined by such instigators as former White House Chief of Staff John Podesta, former Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm and onetime chair of the Republican National Committee Michael Steele.
Other alleged traitors who participated in this operation: Journalist William Kristol and Donna Brazile, the former acting chair of the Democratic National Committee. If, in fact, these individuals plotted such this grossly unlawful act, they need to be rounded up and tried on grounds of treason against the American people. Here’s more from Mike Benz.
Secretary of War Pete Hegseth has decided that the days of a reporter cozying up to some junior officer at a Pentagon water cooler are over.
Is this infringing on freedom of the press… or just plain common sense? Here’s more from Scott Ott, joined by Bill Whittle and Steve Green, in a new edition of The Right Angle.
